a Newbie here.
well, guess I should post something here since I tried to get membership.
I suppose my profile and post list was checked and deemed questionable. If you've seen me around the net you probably already know I have ideas that may be contrary or just plain nutty. I'm still walking my path and learning with no teacher except those I meet along the way.
I left off my sig and pic so as not to give the wrong first impression. LOL
I shall return.

Welcome aboard,Wolfscout.I will admit, your post got me curious, and I checked out your profile, and some of the posts in your history.I can honestly say that I don't know if you will wind up sticking around, but you are welcome to.No one here is going to judge you,any more than any of us wish to be judged. We are all very open-minded,and enjoy a good discussion,so jump right in,anywhere.Make yourself at home.
P.S. The wolf is awesome, but one must remember-even wolves come in all colors.

the colors aren't nearly as important as the hidden knowledge and wisdom.
I'm hoping to broaden my small amount of knowledge by reading volumes here before I jump into the fray.
I like being prepared as if there were any doubts.

Hi WolfScout and Welcome! I think you could definitely add something interesting to the mix on our board. Being contrary and nutty you should fit in quite nicely. Having read your profile, you have my sympathies Dude. My ex is a disabled vet and has been wrestling with the system within the VA for over 10 years now. But then, SNAFU is the normal state of affairs for the Veteran's Administration. LOL. Looking forward to reading your posts.

Re: a Newbie here.
Wonderful answer,Wolf.I didn't mean to sound so....testy,but I was born into a bigotted background, and seeing a rebel flag does make me question ones motives behind having it.(I own a rebel flag t-shirt,also with a wolf on it,by the way)But unfortunately, the majority who display that particular symbol do so with a mean spirit, and a closed mind.I'm glad to see you are NOT one of them.I had to find out, though.
I can totally relate on the whole VA thing,as well.Hubby is a veteran, and no matter the reason, anytime he has to deal with the VA,it's one SNAFU after the next.Yes,that seems to be thier normal mode of operation-Situation Normal-All F***ed Up.
Anyway,welcome,once again.

Re: a Newbie here.
Had your profile been deemed unacceptable, you wouldnt be here, to be blunt and painfully honest. 3 or 4 people have applied and have not only been denied but stay on the denied list since I dont want to keep denying them...THEIR veiws are unacceptable... What I have seen of yours are not. I have read your posts and while I agree with little, I understand much of what you believe and admire it. I was honored when I saw your name on the applications list. You are VERY welcome here. I knew as I pressed the accept button, you and I would probably agree on very few things, however, you impress me...Youll find thats not to easy And while we may not agree on much, I DO hope we can become friends.

I would like to remind you to check out the rules...we have very few but those we do have are firm.
And short or long your stay...I AM very glad you came

Re: a Newbie here.
I thank all who have welcomed me and did decide to look and observe before the thrashing.
I read the rules GaiaGoddess and so far don't see where I would be a disruptor here.
any differing views aside, arguments are for growing for both sides if they are open and willing.
Now can i get back to reading.

Does that help.

Re: a Newbie here.
Yeah, I'm in NC.LOL Of course,I'm a transplant, and didn't know what I was getting into,so please don't hold it against me.I'm originally from Kentucky, and have lived a little bit of everywhere in the southern US(from Sacramento,to New Mexico, to Florida). The farthest north I've been is Indianapolis,Indiana, and that was only for 6 months.
