Personal Bio :: Lina Mai Aen was the only daughter and child of Tribal Head Rebb Ulrais Aen and his wife Lyna'ma Mai Aen. Up until she was six, she lived a happy life on Ryloth in her family's tribal cavern home on the far western part of the planet and was taught in various art forms and the basics.
However, her happy and carefree life on Ryloth ended when illegal ryll miners invaded her family's tribal home. When her Father refused to let the ryll miners into his tribe's caverns to mine for ryll for the infamous Hutts' glitteryll trade, he was shot by them and her Mother was captured and taken back to Tatooine to serve as a slave for the current Hutt leader.
Lina and her aunt and uncle escaped by fleeing in the cold, dead of night to another tribal village that had yet to have been found by the ryll miners. When they were accepted as refugees in the new tribe, Lina's aunt and uncle raised her until one day, the arrival of two Jedi Knights by the names of Quinlan Kos and a native of Ryloth by the name Arli Been.
When she arrived at the temple, the Jedi Council were a bit unsure of training her because she was a bit older than most of the younglings. In the end, after some persuasion by Quinlan Kos and Arli Been, they agreed and she trained to become a Jedi. It didn't take long for them to notice she was very strong in the force and had all the makings of a great teacher, diplomat, and ambassador. When all peace negotiations break down and what not, Lina will fight, but takes a defensive stance when doing so. She is of course proficient in Form I of Lightsaber Combat, but also extremely proficient in Form III: Soresu and is working towards complete mastery in Form VI: Niman. She has studied this form for nearly nine years now.
