creating a talisman... ?
hi, guys.
wanted to ask u something before l sign off, cus l hope/think it'd make sam feel better, even if it's just the idea.
l have a necklace my mom bought me a couple days ago, haven't worn it yet. anyway, l was wondering, is it possible for someone of my inexperience w/ all things magical/mystical etc.... to enchant something, or put healing enegy into it? if that even makes sense.
l remember reading somethign about this in a wiccan book, but l dont think it gave too much of an answer, or how to so to speak. if any of you have any suggestions, either on how to do this for someone whos very VERY inexperienced, not to mention takes time to learn things like this, would you be willing to post them? l wont have msn any time in the next couple days, so this is the only way...kinda. l'm not making much sense, l know that already, but anyway...
oh yeah. if l can't do it taht way, would you suggest something l can do, along those lines or anything else? other than just giving him the necklace, which l plan to do in any case, weather l'm able to do it or not.. it'd just be nice to give him something extra, ya know?
anyway, thanx..
by the way, l hope this is the right spot to post this.. l'm kinda spacing right now, just waiting on time to pass l suppose. would anyone be willing to make the next two weeks fly by so sam can have his test? that's how long the next one might be before they can actually do it.. and hel'l have to stay in the hospital till then, so... yeah.

ps, he is doing better... they gave him blood, and they're givin him more tomorow, and they're givin him intravenus fluid constantly... and he has been drinking, the entire week, but it's just not staying in him. or at least it wasn't, although hopefully that'll change...
btw, might as well get it out now.
l'm 19 and dating a 16 year old... l hope this doesn't bother anyone, his parents really like me, and think l'm good for him, (his mom told me that, tho she also said that if l hurt him... u know, the whole warning thing. believe me, l'll hurt myself before hurting him, tho that might be hurting him in return... bleah. l'm gonna confuse myself.) and believe me, he's good for me, too.... he's so amazing, you know?
and l dont wanna lose him...
bleah. sorry for getting off topic. l'm just scared.
if you do have suggestions or ideas or whatever, they'ed be much appreciated... as well as anything you have on energy shielding, although lan already gave me some stuff on it.. at the moment, neither of us practices it, mostly because we dont know how (there aren't any ways to learn around here except on your own, specially in a small town, and we've both gotta be careful, tho his mom does know, and doesn't mind.)

Hey Darlin,the ladies in my family are notorious for,um,being drawn to younger men(and I have a son who likes older women).You aren't going to be judged on that,here.It's all a matter of maturity,and happiness,and it seems you guys have that covered.
Now,I don't know a lot about spells,and things of that nature,but others here can help with that.I DO have a suggestion,though.If you can,get him a medicine bag,and put a few stones in it that are good for stomach complaints, problems with the blood,and whichever other symptoms he's having,plus a quartz crystal to magnify the properties of those stones.You can visit Scotygirls section here on this forum(I'm sorry,my muddled brain wont remember the names of half the sections here),to find out which stones to use.She even discribes how to cleanse them,etc...Or you can post and ask her which ones would be good.

yeah, that'd be great.. only problem now, where the f*** can l find this stuff?
we live in a small town, and the nearest metaphysical store (l think that's what they were called?? bleah) is probably 3 hours away. no way l can get a ride there right now, tho l do have the money fortunately... l'll go check her section out soon's l post this, then, shadeaux. thanx...

If you do not have the means to get what you need at this moment, do not worry about that. You can do that when you have a way to do that. Shads advice about the medicine bag is excellent, but if you are unable to, it can wait.
First off, Intent is everything! If you feel that that necklace can be healing for him, it can! Just hold that necklace in your hands, and call upon whatever Higher Power you use, and with His/ or Her help, you can put your intent into that necklace, for Sam's healing.
Another thing that you can do is to call upon the Archangel Rapheal. He is the Archangel of healing. Ask that he be there with Sam. He will be there, if He is asked! Angels are funny that way! You must ask for their help, and then always remember to Thank Them!
Remember too, that we are also working on this!! With all the LOVE, and ENERGY of this family.....he cannot help but to be healed!!! Also all that love and energy, and prayers, are there for you too! So stop worrying, and be with Sam.........Much love to you both!

I agree 100% and a common river stone can be healing (water is a healing element...imbued with love makes it twice so.) also, try to meditate on his healing one night, then spend the next few days just paying attention. Something natural may "call" to you.
And to add to what scotty said about the arch angel gabriel... you can call on literally any Mother aspected Goddess (Gaia, Hera, Isis ect.) For healing lies in the domain of mothers

suggestion.... get rosemary and salt....and rub the necklace with it chanting your intent.....my peace charm goes like this...
Take the object and bless it... "object , tossed in thy salten sea...take the harm away from he/she" over and over until you feel the charge within.....
I like rolling it around between my hands to do this,
and place it in the middle of the cloth to rub it with
Add salt and rosemary with words like...
Salt be thou cleansing to my_______
Rosemary be thou healing to my _______
tie a string around it temporality with these words
Bound be their unease I pray thee
Tie it again.... Bound be their pain I pray thee
Tie it a third time.. Bound be all harm with this little charm...
So mote it be....
Now place the charm on them or near them... under the pillow is good..in the car is another...around their neck is best of all... and to give it take the string off its just a device to bind the mind.....

there is a river near where l live, so if l take a walk down there, l should be able to find something right for this.. now the only question is, where can l find rosemarry? fairly sure l have salt, lol, and what kinda cloth? does it matter?
also, would it be better to use one of my necklaces, or a new one? l have both, long's l can remember where the new one is.. tho it's at my house, and l'm kinda at sams' right now.. *pouts*
um, as for him wearing it, l'm not sure if that'll work, he finds necklaces uncomfortable (and the hospital might not like it too much?), but under the pillow would probably work, longs it dont fall out...
