fall approaching
Fall is heading our way and it is the time of year to be drying herbs and harvesting roots, would anyone like to open this up for discussion, how do you dry your herbs and roots and when do you start to harvest?

I'm stuck with hanging stuff coz I can't find the dehydrator and the oven doesn't work. I won't dry roots without one or the other - too much of a mold problem. Doing some wild harvesting still - lots of mullein just now.

We have mullein around here as well, i would like to harvest some pleurisy root and chicory which we seem to have an abundance of around our area.
I have a dehydrator they are great to have, I think we got ours at walmart.
