xadrian calim Hobbit Posts: 1 (1/17/03 2:49 pm) Reply	Bombadil is Tolkien I don't know if this topic has been done to death or not, but has there been discussion on exactly who Tom is? Why he's so powerful that the ring has no sway over him, but yet he's almost a departure from the story of the rings? I'm just now starting on the Sil but I don't think I'll find him in there with anything more than LOTR references. Thoughts?
