not an old morning?
Feeling Richard move against her Anberlin woke for a moment, but drifted back asleep as soon as she checked the bond. He was content and well. She was more comfortable then she'd ever been and wanted this morning to last forever. but the wheel continued weaving and the morning passed all to soon.
Long after streams of warm sun flowed through the windows Anberlin lazily rolled over to face Richard. Finding him already awake and watching her she cast him a smile and kissed him softly. "I do suppose we're missed by now" she said regretfully, somtimes power was a curse. he agreed and she started to get up, sititng up she wraped the sheet aorund her and asked him "how are we gonig to get you out of here without anyone seeing?"
Re: A new head
Richard chuckled as he found his trousers and pulled them on. Thinking back, this was something he likely should have thought about last nightm but now they were here.
"Not very likely I can get out a window," he said with a chuckle. "All we have to do is get out of the room and start walking though. I'm your warder, why wouldn't I be here? I just don't know how busy this wing is in the morning. Or mid morning, as the case may be."
He grabbed his boots and sat down next to her sheet clad figure and gave her another kiss. He didn't know how he would be able to just go back to being a Warder. The intamacy within and outside of the bodn had been an experience unlike any other.
"I love you An," he whispered as her ear. "Thank you for a most wonderful night."

'If anyone could get out a window it would be you" Anberlin said with a grin, pulling fresh clothing from the closet. "however, its a long way down" She dressed and ran a brush through her hair as they talked. " No one will ask, we'll just walk out normally. Ase Sedai are acompanied by their warders all the time. No problem" she smiled at him and headed for the door.
No morning with you is old.
Richard chuckled and reset his back sheath, trying to put his stone face on again. It took a while to screw on, but after a bit, he looked like the aged, battle hardened warder he was and followed her out the door.
The White Tower was hardly full, and in light of the recent events, the odds of even seeing someone in this hall were slim. Thankfully, they had the odds working for them. No one saw them till they were a few turns away from Anberlin's room.
"So, do you still need me around, or am I free to return to my duties," he growled softly. It wasn't mean, it was just habit. Years of warder work had made him a bit cynical, evenin the Tower.

mornings never last long enough to get old,
Anberlin hated putting on their faces of stone, but it must be done, No matter how they felt.
"No, you are free to go, I will let you know when I need you and I'll see you tonight?" she left the last as a question before walking off with a face of stone. But the bond said somthing much diffirent from stone.
Have we even had enough mornings to know?
Richard glanced around and saw no one was looking. He softened his face into a smile that made his green eyes dance.
"As you wish," he whispered before breaking away from her and starting down the hall towards the ground floor. He knew that the Grounds Commander would be trying to find him by now. He wished they had started this back when there were just a warder and an aes sedai. Now all the responsibility was nearly enough to crush them.
It was nice to have an escape though. Looking at the working recruits, he floated into the middle of the yard.
"Any three of you," he barked out, making all movement in the training yard stop. He glanced over at the Master Gaidens in the yard as well. "And I do mean any three. Attack."
