Cyprianna, the day that the Turkish army entered Cyprus, my dads partner told us. His uncle as murdered by Greeks, they then gathered all the boys and men (not girls) and took them to a school (this is happening in Karpaz) they put petrol all around the school and over the men. Next to the school not too far they dug a massive hole. The next thing as to set it on fire and then bury them all. They lit the fire about 20 men burned to death, when they heard the army came the Greeks ran, The TC started to break through the fire and ran out grabbing the boys(inc babies). Now tell me this: what would have happened if the army didnt arrive.

Another example on the same day, my mums uncle takes his kids and wife and hidesin the gardens, the Greek soldier come s starts firing left and right randomly. Shouting no Turks will be left alive, suddenly another Greek soldier shouts 'Turko's' The soldiers quickly run away. My mums uncle was crying in the garden and praying to th army, he had in his arms his 2 daughters and wife.

No maybe your family were nearly murdered or imprisoned - but my family escaped certain death, and they werent politicians, My mums uncle was a postman and his wife was at home with her two young children.

What I believe is that all that happened in Cyprus was Evil - both sides suffered badly. Yet you cannot deny that the Turkish army saved many TC. If they hadnt come to the Island, you would be in North Cyprus, but my family would be extinct. I never have had bad feelings for GC and lots of my friends are GC, we need to realise first we are humans.

I do understand you as well... but what happened was wrong, If Enosis hadnt been planned, today we would live side by side.

I don't thing that turks made any civilacation like Greek or Romeon .The only thing they done was conquere and bring the mess to the lands they conquere . Quite proud .
