Novak Djokovic wins his first round match, convincingly, 6-1 6-1 6-0
Great result. Crowd was very well behaved. During the pause between sets they would chant "JAVI SE NOLE, JAVI SE NOLE" and he would look up and clap, and everyone would go nuts

Wern't the first Croatians in Australia Ustase after WW2 trying to flee somewhere for refuge (and likewise today the Croats are descendents of them)? I know alot of the Serbs in Australia are originally from Serbian Krajina/Dalmatia...not a good blend for Australia if you ask me
The power of the country is not based on the size of its territory, not the number of inhabitants, nor even on the richness of the land, but rather on the independence of thought, the concept of love for the country, its freedom and independence, internal unity and spiritual ties of the nation when subject to foreign invasion, and the readiness of its people to sacrifice everything they have including their lives for their country and its freedom.

Hey, that's just one pick... she's still not bad, I'd give her the 'cute' label... but Ana Ivanovic is hot... she was voted the sexiest female tennis player too
I can't see the Yahoo Comcast video for whatever reason... hope somebody uploads that stuff to youtube, I wanna see our Grubic kicking some NAZI a$$
Re: Australian Open Tennis - Official topic
Ancic was unlucky to lose to Roddick today but Roddick has improved his game. Give Ancic another 12 months and he will fly past Ljubicic and Roddick.
I'm currently watching Djokovic playing Federer and he certainly looks the goods to.
Djokovic and Ancic are probably on par as far as ability is concerned so it will be interesting to see both players improve throughout the next 12 months. Both will dominate the tennis circuit.
