Man I remember how Capetan Dragan paid for Serbian children left without fathers to go and spend three months in Greece with Greek families, two of my cousins were sent to Greece along with a whole bus load of children. I do agree that we should help Serbs in Kosovo, but we should also help those who helped others during the hardest of times. Its a pity we Serbs don't have unity, thats probably the reason we are spread around the whole world like gypsies....

Guys, Kadonoja has a right to express his opinion even if it goes against what some believe, we cannot edit just because we dont agree, unless of course opinions are expressed as insults. And i am asking you guys to respect his right to that opinion by all means debate it, but please dont insult each other.

I agree with you vinyak. Captain Dragan is now in the public eye like any politician which means he is fair game. Its no diferent to me smashing Ceku over the head every chance I get.
Stanko, only edit insults dirscted at other posters. People in the public eye are fair game. Just remember how both you and I hammered Ceku over a sustained period.

The insult itself was directed at the people who supported Dragan. I'm guessing since kadonoja isnt anywhere near Australia that he doesnt comprehend the scope of support Dragan has been getting. That is no excuse to talk smack.
Croats and anyone else can sit here and trash talk Dragan all they want - I could honestly care less, it has zero bearing on me. Thats why I fully support any action that Stanko took in this thread, and in the future

Thats just stupid Stanko. KadOnoJa has more of a right to give his views on Kapetan Dragan then any Serb living in Australia (Including me who lives in the same city).

The folks in Chicago were able to raise $2500 USD over two nights (some concerts were on) which is being forwared to the Kapetan Dragan bank account (see your local commonwealth bank for details on how to deposit )
All things considered and Dragan ends up in Croatia - what ever sentence he would recieve if involves jail time, it is more than likely that pressure would be put on the Aust government for him to serve it here, like Hicks (also putting into consideration the 12 months he has already spent behind bars)
Although we are all very hopeful it wont come to that.

Fair enough Fender666. I will stick by editing out insults directed at other members so i wont edit out any insults made to Captain Dragan because of the same reason me and you were beating up on Ceku over that period when we were debating with Dijedon.
But at the same time his insults towards Dragan will not be taken lightly or be welcome at all but they wont be edited unless if the insult is been directed at the another member or moderator.
I appologise for the earlier comment.
And i appologise to bob aswell for the earlie statement and to everyone who is viewing this topic. Fender, Banovina and Vinyak are right and they hold a valid point but at the same you are right about the insults and the insulting remarks KadOnoJa has made towards the people that are supporting Captain Dragan and the people Captain Dragan has helped over the past 10-15 years. And at the same time they should not be tollerated but in a way where opinions are not being restricted to anyone by any moderators when it comes to moderating.

I can't believe you edited KOJ's post, Stanko... that was a legit opinion, one which I personally support... if I had $500,000 I would rather give it to Kosovo Serbs too... stupid move, Stanko... I think it would be best if you ease up on editing anyone for a while...
and Bob, very immature of you to react in the way you did... opinions other Serbs have should be given some respect... don't get in the SRS habit of calling someone a traitor because their view doesn't correspond... traitors are only those who kill their own fighting for the enemy (we might have a single example of that on this forum, but it is not koj)

While this can be enterpreted in many different ways, I guess I did mean those who gave money. If any of you are wondering why I did that, the answer would be that I know something about Dragan and his Knindze.
My cousin was a volounteer in the war in Croatia. In '94, I think, his platoon captured a village and they were supposed to hold it. Now, that was a time when RSK did not recieve ANY aid, humanitarian included, from Belgrade in 2 years. The supplies of the Serbs were dwindling, while the Croats were getting armed, and really by that time were better armed (not to mention more numerous) than the Serbs. Anyway, my cousin's platoon was expecting a heavy counterattack, including tanks and air strikes. Needless to say, they were scared shytless. All of a sudden, a few trucks full of soldiers rode into the village. It was the Knindze. Needless to say, the squad was overjoyed, they started cheering. The Knindze got out of their trucks, dispersed over the village and started breaking into houses. Next, they started taking all the valuables from the houses (TVs, fridges, jewelry) and loading them on the trucks. And then they left. Left the unfortunate unit to its fate. The eventual Croat counter-attack was hard. The platoon withdrew, with about half of them dead or captured by the Croats (you decide what is worse).
There is no doubt in my mind that a man who created such a unit as the Knindze is capable of war crimes.
Having said that, I really don't have the slightest idea what Dragan did for the refugees who came to Australia. Their loyalty to him is probably somehow deserved.
So I apologise to the AU Serbs who might have thought that I meant all of them when I wrote what I wrote, and I also apologise to the AU Serbs who did give the money, especially the refugees. While I do think that money would be better spend aiding the Kosovo Serbs, it is not my place to lecture them, or indeed to insult them. And for that I am sorry.
Again, all that said, Bob is an @#%$. Insulting one's mother over the internet is an act of a coward, no matter the reason.

I was contemplating doing this over PM, but I'll do it like this instead.
First, the fact that we can publically disagree is a good thing, not a bad one.
Next, Kadonoja SHOULD NOT be edited in anyway (are you reading this boys - this means all of you).
He is one of our best posters and he is not offering an illegitimate position, even though you and I may disagree. I don't necessarily agree with him on this issue, but that doesn't mean I don't respect his opinion or his right to voice that opinions.
Unlike Goran/Osama in the BF, Kadonoja does not hold positions detrimental to Serbs or Serbia. He is not a supporter of Dragan. Okay, big deal!
