Well Canaris...seems like just going for vacations in Greece is enough to get brainwashed by the greek propaganda.
As a matter of fact, Albania did not help italians. When Albania was invaded by Italy, our "beloved" king(well, that's what he called himself at least) left Albania and went to Greece. Albanians at that time asked for weapons to fight aginst italians, but the had no luck since the king left the country. Despite that, some managed to get some weapons and fight.
After they invaded the country, they created a puppet albanian government. This government was the one that collaborated with Italy to atack Greece. So...this is the government that attacked you, a puppet government...and of course you know that, but still you like to say that albanians collaborated with italians, when albanians fought as much as the others against the italians and germans.

Canaris, your appearing everyday and more and more like a troll then an admin.
1. The acts of Greece had very little influence on Albania. Rather then Italian Fascists, our south was taken over by Greek Fascists.
2. The different batallion of Italians that gave in did so late in the war when italy was pulling its troops out and the Germans started attacking them. Look up the events that went on in Berat(who named themselves Batalion of Antonio Gramschi).

Melty..you been reading too many one sided books....and I have been talking to people that were there at the time both greeks and italians... Since Albania was "occupied" practically in one day..with no resistance whatsoever ...the Italians settled in comfortably and then launched their attack on greece...
Albania was long under Italian influence so them moving into the country gave them an instant 'border' with greece...

I never said anything about Albania playing any role in Italy's surrender. italy surrendered to the Allies...and there were still Italian soldiers in Albania. When the Germasn came in...they tried to round up all the Italian soldiers in Albania. Many were executed by the Germans. Most found refuge with Albanian families...we took them in and defended them even though they had been previously our enemies. Most of the Italians lived as civilians during this period...hid by Albanian families. Many others joined the Albanian Partisans...
