The definition of "terrorism" is:

Quote:
The unlawful use or threatened use of force or violence by a person or an organized group against people or property with the intention of intimidating or coercing societies or governments, often for ideological or political reasons.

I do not think the guy from VT was a terrorist. He had psychological issues ( perceptual paranoid delusion's) , that caused him to perceive people as antagonizing.

Wanting to attack the Fort Dix military base is more in line with terrorism due to the reason. Political or government based, planned attack.

What year was that picture taken? You have to realize that at one time Sadam was an American allie. Besides that, diplomatic relationships do not support, supporting terrorism. They still have not linked Sadam to 9/11 (found evidence) and have yet to find weapons of mass destruction. But that is a different story. Albanians have had contact with Osama Bin Ladin who is a KNOWN terrorist who sought out safety IN Albania. Big difference.

I suggest getting your historical data about key figures in terrorist organizations straight before you try and argue it.

And I should rephrase myself and state: Serbs do not generally align themselves with Muslim Terrorists. But I am sure you knew what I meant.

Re: a
The pictures of Seselj shows his courteousness to other cultures-very different then what propogandists and characters on this forum try to paint.

“At first we were confused. The East thought that we were West, while the West considered us to be East. Some of us misunderstood our place in the clash of currents, so they cried that we belong to neither side, and others that we belong exclusively to one side or the other. But I tell you, Ireneus, we are doomed by fate to be the East in the West and the West in the East, to acknowledge only heavenly Jerusalem beyond us, and here on earth--no one.”

I fail to see the difference. Bin Laden was also an American ally. American have also had contact with with him. I think he has even been there.

Him seeking safety is just speculation.

And I should rephrase myself and state: Albanians do not generally align themselves with Muslim Terrorists. But I am sure you knew what I meant. On the contrary we are one of the few countries in the Balkan who is fighting terrorism and have send troops in Afghanistan+Iraq.

Its more like the guy from VT wasn't a Muslim. I guarantee you if that was an Arab that did that, regardless if he was delusional, skitzo or whatever, he would have been labeled as a terrorist.

Now, another question, your definition of terrorism fits in exactly with what Gavrilo Princip did or what is described in Gorski Vijenac. Are they terrorists? Or not because they're not Muslims..

Boz: With regards to Gavrilo Princip. I do not know everything about him but what I do know, is that he was an assassin - not a terrorist ( He selected a specific target for assasination, he did not go on a killing spree). Muslim's are not the only terrorists but they make up the majority, worldwide. And I am sure your right about the VT killer, if he were Muslim this thing would have blown up media wise and the fact he was mentally instable would have been downplayed.

FanNoli: You send troops to Afghanistan but yet Osama wants to come to Albania. Interesting...

I'm pretty sure that's because the US came to your aid and you want to keep Kosovo. Big difference in motives. If the US did not come to Kosovo Albanian aid than your only resort would have been a Middle Eastern Muslim extremist alliance. But I am sure you want to ignore this fact just as you want to ignore the fact these terrorists are Albanians...let's pretend there Serbs :lol

If you take your definition of terrorism and apply it worldwide, Muslims make up an insignificant minority of all terrorists.

Federal Authorities Arrest Six Men in N.J. for Allegedly Planning to Storm Post

By William Branigin, Howard Schneider and Debbi Wilgoren
Washington Post Staff Writers
Tuesday, May 8, 2007; 5:48 PM

Six foreign-born men inspired by Islamic radicalism were in the final stages of preparations to attack a military post in New Jersey when federal agents made a series of arrests last night and disrupted their plot, federal officials said today.

The six -- including three illegal immigrant brothers from the former Yugoslavia -- planned to attack Fort Dix with automatic weapons and rocket-propelled grenades to kill as many U.S. soldiers as they could, officials said. The men had allegedly plotted the attack since late 2005, drawing inspiration from the al-Qaeda terrorist network of Osama bin Laden, although they apparently had no direct links with any group, the officials said.

From Outlook
The Rise of Low-Tech Terrorism
Since Sept. 11, 2001, Americans have been concerned about large-scale terrorist attacks, but more conventional, low-tech threats are on the rise.

"They were at the point now where they wanted to obtain the automatic weapons that would be the final piece in the plan . . . to create carnage at Fort Dix," said Christopher J. Christie, the U.S. attorney for New Jersey, in a news conference this afternoon.

He said all the men knew how to handle weapons and that one, whom he did not immediately identify, had been a sniper in Kosovo. Another had delivered pizza to Fort Dix from a family-owned pizzeria just outside the post and had told an informant that he knew the installation "like the back of his hand," Christie said.

"Today we dodged a bullet," said Jody P. Weis, special agent in charge of the FBI's Philadelphia office. "What we witnessed here was a brand new form of terrorism." He told reporters the plotters "may or may not be affiliated with al-Qaeda" but were clearly inspired by the group and "operated under the radar" in South Jersey with "no specific command and control."

In a statement, the U.S. attorney's office in New Jersey said five of the men were arrested and charged with plotting to kill as many soldiers as possible at Fort Dix and the sixth was charged with aiding and abetting the illegal possession of firearms by three members of the group.

The arrests were carried out as two of the defendants were meeting a confidential government witness to buy three AK-47 automatic assault rifles and four semi-automatic M-16 rifles for the planned attack, the statement said. It identified the two as Dritan Duka, 28, and his brother Shain Duka, 26. The weapons they were allegedly buying were provided by the FBI for controlled purchase and were inoperable, the statement said.

Another brother, Eljvir Duka, 23, was arrested at Dritan Duka's residence and the three others at their respective homes.

The Duka brothers are ethnic Albanians born in the former Yugoslavia who were residing illegally in Cherry Hill, N.J., where they operated a roofing business, officials said.

Also arrested, authorities said, were a U.S citizen -- Mohamad Ibrahim Shnewer, 22, of Cherry Hill, an immigrant from Jordan employed as a taxi driver in Philadelphia -- and two legal permanent residents of the United States: Serdar Tatar, 23, a Turkish-born convenience store clerk in Philadelphia; and Agron Abdullahu, 24, of Buena Vista Township, N.J., a supermarket employee who, like the Duka brothers, is also an ethnic Albanian born in the former Yugoslavia.

A fourth, younger brother of the Dukas also was apparently involved in the plans, the charging documents show. It was not immediately clear, however, whether he also would be prosecuted in the case.

The charging documents, filed in federal court in Camden yesterday and unsealed today, portray an ambitious and cold-blooded -- but somewhat bungling -- cadre who hoped to kill at least 100 soldiers, but also dropped training videos off at a local store to be copied, and spoke openly to a Philadelphia police sergeant about obtaining maps of Fort Dix.

Boz: I would have to disagree. Here is a list of terrorist organizations through out the world and the Muslims have the biggest amount of known terrorist organization. If I had more time i would try to cross reference terrorist attacks and religion but I am pretty sure i can for see the result of that.

And this article has some eye opening numbers in the first few paragraphs as well.

From what I'm hearing these Muhammadians weren't the sharpest tools in the shed, they supposedly sent in their jihady speech video into a dvd copy store.

:rolleyes ...what a surprise, Mr Kransiqi has his own roofing company.

The only way to make sure people you agree with can speak is to support the rights of people you don't agree with.........Do you agree, Dijedon?

Overall this is great news. It could have been even better if they fulfilled out their little game and made even more of an impact. It's a shame them being Albanian that they are so mentally challenged (sending the video to get copied :lol :lol )

Its a win-win situation for us. Not only does this prove all the Serbianna reports of Albanian terrorists but the timming is perfect with the Kosovo issue at hand. It shows the world what kind of terrorists we have had to deal with for decades now.

If these are the types of Albanian terrorists in USA, I can only imagine what kind of jihadi headcases they are in Kosovo where they are allowed to do and plan whatever they want.

My only wish is that more Albos join the the jihadi cause!

This conversation being railroaded by the likes of Boz is a joke. If I had time and actually gave a shyte, I'd delete everyone of his off topic posts, especially in light of what he is doing in the BF.

You are becoming "delete happy".

I (and every other Serb mod) could find enough reason to delete most of your posts here (like irrelevance & provocations), but we do not. You on the other hand, seem to have adopted the Deletijedon & Shmajmun method of moderation.
