Re: Accepting
"The pack, and the pack alone." He replied darkly, still watching the other male. There was a hint of a wolven grin on his face, as though the golden devil reminded him of someone he once knew. "I was an alpha long enough to know the truth of things-alphas can be replaced...death takes them-or they leave...but the pack is the family-the piece of all wolven life that without which we are nothing."

"I was taught this truth many years ago, and I myself have lived it."

"I was an alpha long enough to know the truth of things-alphas can be replaced...death takes them-or they leave...but the pack is the family-the piece of all wolven life that without which we are nothing." The male's words rang true, and the alphess nodded quietly.

"Truer words have yet to be spoken." Luna smiled wryly. "Deacon, I believe your pack is in need of a stable wolf like this one here." she nodded toward the other male. "Unless, of course, you seek out more unstable ones like your darling Jorn?" A dry, humorless grin. "Much as I would like to steal him away form you, I think he is more fit for your pack...you could use him better than I"

A noble gesture from the alphess, indicating she would try to make peace with the male, and also a sort of apology for her churlish behaviour at their initial meeting. The alphess dipped her head as a sort of farewell, then turned and headed back toward the Stellar lands.

Re: Accepting
Idrian bowed his head to her in a gesture of acceptance, and as she padded away, turned to Deacon. "If you will have me, then, I should be proud to swear my loyalty to your pack."

He waited, calm and patient, for the other male's response.

ooc.

Right right, hmmmmm, although you were accepted so long ago, I might just reply so we can try up some loose ends.

ic.

For the strangest of reasons, the golden Hellian remained silent when he could just as easily cracked some snap remark like he usually did. The brute's blue-violet optics blinked slowly as a mere nod was given to the dear Alphess Luna.

As the femme left, Deacon appeared to be in deep thought. Surprise, surprise. The brute actually had a working noggin, and wasn't all muscle. He tilted his great golden crown, a ghost of a smirk jumbled his prior cryptic behaviour.

"If you will have me, then, I should be proud to swear my loyalty to your pack."

Deacon's smirk grew into full bloom. "'Should?'" He repeated with the most amused expression shining in his dark indigo hues. "You are rather wise and still have many years in you. I would rather like to have you as my Gamma, we need a level head such as yours."

Deacon began to pad off, leaving the older wolven to do as he pleased for the time being. The golden brute didn't have any errands at the time being, enough the free time while it lasts. "As you said, Alpha's come and go, therefore, it is not my pack, it is the pack. Swear your loyalty to the heart of the pack not the head." With that the golden Alpha was gone, past the brush disappearing as the golden sun does at dusk.

Re: Accepting
He bowed lightly with a wolven smile still on his face. "To the pack, then."

He watched the alpha pad off into the distance and then raised his own snout to the sky and let loose a booming howl that resounded over the land and echoed back to his ears, and on that wind he could have sworn he heard the voices of his lost family.

"Finally...I've a home once more."
