OOC-
*sighs wearily* Alright. Quit hinting. I'll bring Jerk, I mean jorn in. LOL
IC-
Bicolored optics danced with the mention of a hunt. "A hunt is a hunt, my darling Deacon," the snowy fey purred, her tail beginning to wag with anticiation. "I care not what we hunt, as long as it is a good hunt."
Doubtless it would be a good hunt, too, as long as that insufferable ass Jorn didn't show. Almost as if the fey's thoughts had summoned him, the midnight hued beta appeared, approaching, the raveness Pala flying above him.
Pala circled the small group once, then landed next to Deuce, preening her feathers briefly, then offering the alpha a quick bow, adknowledging his presence and, in her own obscure way, paying her homage to him as the leader of their small pack. "Greetings, all."
Jorn's golden eyes were carefully neutral as he took his rightful place at Deacon's side. "A pack meeting, and none thought to invite me?" His voice was all silk and velvet, too smooth to be anything but the sheath covering the hidden daggers. Cold golden optics scanned the other two. Briefly the male remembered a yearling who had once been a part of the pack. He mentally shrugged away the thought. The whelp wasn't here, and he hadn't seen him in ages. But the cruel beta didn't particularly care, either. He hadn't liked the whelp from the beginning.
Re: Pacing
Idrian didn't miss the look on Jorn's face. He began to raise his dark lip over his fangs, but he withheld his reaction...he certainly didn't want to be the start of a scene with Jorn, not here, not now, or ever, if he could do something about it. Though if the Beta decided to start something, he would try to finish it.
He shifted his attention to the raven. "Hello again, Pala." He wagged his tail slightly in greeting.

Destroyer and preserver; hear, oh, hear!"

Pacing
ooc.
Hinting? Who moi? *grin*
ic.
Lovely golden peltage was worn with the utmost pride. He had fixed those bold indigo hues onto the ivory fae, a slight unreadible glint flashing behind those murky oculars like lightning in the distance. The golden brute's librums curled into a cruel grin, one that revealed those arching ivrons with wicked intent, he couldn't wait till blood be let, his two pack-mates were correct. No matter what they hunt, they will enjoy the kill. Deacon would see to that.
The brujo's oddly, enthusiastic attudite soon disappeared, a dark cloud was raining on his parade, and by god! His beta was actually out in the daylight! What a surprise. Nares flared in a rough snort, squaring those powerful deltoids as Jorn took to his side. How close he was, how easy it would be to see the slightest inclination of betryal, and if that ugly traitor ever reared its head while Deacon was around--it was a straight shot to the juggular, and any one bold enough to cross the arrogant beast would be flatlining. Those sharp triangular eyes narrowed even more as plush auds pitched forth, a grin lacing the brute's velvetly smooth baritone. "I thought you filled yourself on those mongrals I sent you to eradicate. Didn't think you'd also be coining for a hunt." he stated, off-handishly, handling the conversation as if the two were the best of friends.
Golden crown was tipped to the ebony avian, acknowledging her. Deacon would be a fool if he gave up his 'eye in the sky.'

OOC- Naw. Never, gabe. LOL. You know, it's almost sad....your pack is far more Active than mine. And it's nevere been that way, for deadwood to be ore active. *stalks off to pout* *decides to do more advertising*
IC-
Jorn's lip curled at the mention of coyotes. "ugh. D@mn flilthy beasts, they are. But a proper hunt sounds good. It's been a long time. Not since Rae and Grabel have we had a proper hunt."
Pala smiled at Deacon's attention and preened her feathers some more, half listening. She hadn't afiled to miss the dampening of the more relxed mood with Jorn's appearance.
Deuce stiffened slightly at jorn's arrival, dislike for the dark brute obvious in the distaseful way she eyed him. But for nothing would she give up the chance to run at her darling deacon's side again. She enjoyed their occasional runs together.
Re: Pacing
Idrian felt the energy shoot through him like a bolt of lightning. He was champing at the bit, to say the least, and it showed in every quivering inch of muscle he possessed. He kept his ears toward Jorn, however, and he wasn't going to go back on his idea to keep watch on the shadow beast.
"Wild Spirit, which art moving everywhere;
Destroyer and preserver; hear, oh, hear!"
Keen eyes, sharpened with violet edges like broken glass, observed the stiffness of the two other canids upon the shadowy Beta's appearance. If the brute walked his strut could make imprints in the tension. Regal brows cocked slightly in mild amusement, had something happened between the three. The gold male snorted absently, he wouldn't put it past his shifty second-in-command.
There was not a single flaw in the lupine's acutely toned build, and his full tassel was held high in the presence of the others. Cornered auds twitched, "Is there a problem...here? Now's the time to work it out. I wouldn't want to take a divided pack into a hunt....Accidents...May happen." As the male spoke cream covered librums curled back, not in aggression, more likely to get his point across. That soft ivory muzzle wasn't going to stay pale for long if blood was bid to run.
Deacon wasn't asking if something was wrong, he already knew it; but it was better if his packmates were willing to speak up instead, that's the true test of team bonds. For the longest of times the golden Hellian never played the loser, he wasn't going to start now, especially not with a rag-tag group of wolven on his tail.

Re: Pacing
Problem? Oh yeah, there definately was a problem! Deuce's bicolored eyes snapped a regal fire as she stiffened her spine. "Last i knew," the fey snapped, "unprovoked attacks were more than just a 'problem'!" Fury made her hckles raise as she openly glared at Jorn.
Jorn merely raised an eyebrow, eveey inchthe cool, unruffled beta, comfortable with his power within the pack. "Unprovoked, m'dear?" His voice was a sfot drawl, a gentle sneer. "Last I knew, being a spy was a justifyable reason."
Re: Pacing
"Hold it, Jorn," Idrian spoke, free from any hinderance or concern. "I may have but one eye, but what it sees, I do not doubt...your attack was unprovoked-at least by Deuce. Your own tyranny brought it on, not something wrong on her part!"
