Laci Peterson was PROBABLY shot in the head.
I was banned from posting on Court TV message boards because I suggested that Laci Peterson was probably shot in the head by the man who kidnapped her. My reasoning was that it would have been far easier to find Laci's body with skull intact, in San
Fransisco Bay than a fetus, and the body of evidence strongly suggests that the remains of Laci and Connor were recovered in a manner that was deliberately supposed to conceal the cause of death.
I believe that if Scott Peterson had dumped his wife in San Fransisco Bay, Laci's head would have been recovered and the fetus would have perished. All the theoretical crap about coffin birth is pure speculation and based on the foolish
assumptions that the National Enquirer and the people who vilify Scott Peterson, aggressively promote. I strongly resent and reject this preposterous effort to create the impression that there is absolutely no difference between fact and the fiction that false assumptions produce.
I am not allowed to post on Court TV unless I promote the incriminating fiction that has become a course of the daily diet that is aggressively promoted. In particular, I am supposed to believe that Scott Peterson placed his wifes feet in cement and dumped her in the San Fransisco Bay. If that is the case, why wasn't Laci's head recovered? Demagogues like Nancy Grace currently claim that the police might fail to prosecute Scott Peterson if they fail to locate cement anchors. Why is she encouraging the police to look for cement anchors? Why doesn't she encourage the police to look for Laci's head?
I strongly believe, given the way this media circus has unfolded, that as desperate as the murderers are, to implicate Scott, Peterson, they removed the head from the body because a bullet hole would expose the cause of death. I strongly believe that if Scott Peterson was the one who dumped Laci's body in San Fransisco Bay, Laci's head would have been recovered and the fetus, which has survived by way of theoretical speculation that makes the National Enquirer appear to be a credible source, would not exist.
Moreover, if any or all of the witnesses who spotted Laci Peterson while Scott was fishing, are as credible as they appear to be, the theory that Laci Peterson was shot in the head, is much more than mere speculation. Firearms are responsible for most homicides and the claim that Laci Peterson was probably shot in the head, is far more likely than not.

One of my former students is going around posting preposterous claims about "blood evidence" in the Laci Peterson case, and I feel obliged to set the record straight.

Blood evidence, real or imagined, measures the degree of your illusion, because when the defendant is clearly innocent, the existence or the non-existence of blood has absolutely nothing to do with HIS complicity. The only thing that really matters in a case where all the facts are clear and obvious, is the cause of death. How did the creepy man who kidnapped Laci while she was walking her dog, murder her? That is the only mystery here and we have to rely, not upoon your delusions about the existence of blood evidence, but upon the clear and undeniable facts.
First and foremost, the bodies of evidence strongly suggest that Laci Peterson was shot in the head, and the question you need to consider is what happened to all the blood? [This is the criminal eqiuivalent of the philosophical, "if a tree falls in the forest..."] Clearly, if Laci was indeed shot in the head, as the evidence suggests, the kidnapper obviously needed to cover up the cause of death, and that explains why it was possible to miraculously recover the fetus amd not the head. Only a foolish law student would ignore the fact that the remains of Laci and Connor were recovered in a manner that was deliberately supposed to conceal the cause of death. Firearms are responsible for most homicides and removing the head does not obscure the fact, in a case where Doug Ridenour said "the investigation is still ongoing, and will continue until it is solved or until we run out of leads and tips to investigate." Finding the body is not the end of the ride. It is only the beginning.

A body that would have washed ashore immediately would have yielded excellent DNA. If someone did take Laci, THEIR DNA would have been all over her, as well as cause of death. The sea was the perfect asthetic cleanser to wash away incriminating evidence over time, plus the killer would have the added benefit of taking the focus off of them and shifting it to Scott. Scott's alibi was out in the media on day ONE when he first reported her missing, so it was well-known by the public.

I have a problem with the logistics concerning those bodies washing up. For one thing, consider the vast amount of space in that ocean. It's HUGE, with under currents and forever changing tides. Is it also coincidence that those bodies washed up within ONE DAY of one another? Neither body floated at an extremely different pace, nor did one body become lodged on anything underwater to restrict its movement. The chances of that are beyond comprehension - and that includes any 'spiritual' theory. The second thing is the location of both bodies in relation to one another. Again, beyond logistics that they would wash up within such a close proximity to one another. The ocean is HUGE, as of course, are the shorelines. Not to mention the black tarp that conveniently washed up, the next day...

Conclusion: The real murderers had Laci wrapped in that black tarp in the bottom of the sea, and removed the weights, to force the police to arrest Scott Peterson. Alternative theory: GOD wanted to punish Scott Peterson. National Enquirer theory: Scott Peterson bludgeoned Laci to death in his home on December 23rd, had Laci over his shoulder while he received his receipt from the marina, mixed some concrete, placed Laci's feet in it, wrapped her up in a tarp and threw her overboard. Try accepting those logistics...wow ! Who needs forensic scientists, as long as we have the National Enquirer?
The choices for the jury are very clear. They can look at the facts and determine that Scott Peterson is being framed, they can claim that God wants to prosecute Scott Peterson or they can accept the demagoguery that the National Enquirer has promoted, to demonize Scott Peterson.

The Inquisition. Boy are we ever stupid. How do we know that Mr. Willey was not murdered, so that Starr could coach Kathleen Willey. I mean, Julie Hiatt Steele certainly proved what an ignorant liar she was. The courts rarely if ever, bring out the truth.
And now, Gloria Allred is acting like Linda Tripp, the mouthpiece of Amber Frey, the way Tripp tried to speak for Monica Lewinsky. Remember how Starr's Office Terrorized Monica Lewinsky and Julie Hiatt Steele when they refused to lie for the prosecution? That's about all we are witnessing now -fraud and deception.
Did ya see the assistand DA, he looks just like Ken Starr. I did a google search on Linda Tripp and found this old message in the newsgroups:

Gestapo-like tactics deny Scott Peterson a fair trial.
Laci Peterson was probably shot in the head after she failed to elude her captor in Longview Washington, because if she wasn't, her murderers would have no reason to mutilate her body for the sake of hiding the evidence. Autopsy results also strongly suggest that she miscarried before she was shot.
The house is clearly not a crime scene as the deluded followers of the National Enquirer insist, but the defense needed the time and the opportunity to videotape the "crime scene" as agreed upon, to show the jury that what is being called a crime scene is simply the home that Scott and Laci lived in. Laci Peterson was kidnapped off the street, as she walked her dog. Scott's simple right to defend himself as prescribed by law has been hijacked by the Prosecutor's Gestapo-like tactics.
But that's routine and typical, Scott should not be in jail in the first place.

Sorry, I think the Rocha's just made a terrible situation even more bizarre and tragic and I am seeing a totally different side to this family.
Makes me wonder if the rumors about Laci being a hell cat aren't true! Look at what her family did today!
And, where is her REAL FATHER? He's been pretty quiet throughout this thing - makes me think that Sharon Rocha is pretty much the CONTROLLER and her and Ron stifled him! Maybe Sharon just can't bear to share the spotlight with Laci's Dad - she wants all the sympathy HER WAY!
I believe more and more each day that Scott is INNOCENT and the Police and the Rocha's are terrified that is true and THEY MADE A HUGE MISTAKE!

If Laci was alive, she would want ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with the IGNORANT Rocha family. In fact, THEY are responsible ignoring her cries when she was alive and for covering up the truth about her murder, now that she is dead.

I think the plot to demonize the Petersons has failed, what do you think?
At the very least, the Prosecution should be charged with contempt of court, for leaking autopsy records. Geragos is too much of a gentleman to charge the Rocha's for burglarizing the Peterson home.
The prosecution was trying to paint the picture that the poor Rocha family represented the sympathetic victims while the Peterson's were the so mean, that they even denied the Rocha family the opportunity to collect Laci's things.
The plot to demonize the Peterson family was right on cue, but the Prosecution's creepy scheme fell apart because they were trying to put out two fires at the same time. Detective David Sween had frequently indicated that gunfire was the main cause of death and the compelling suggestion that Laci was shot in the head by her captor created a frenzy in the office of the
Prosecution. Somebody invariably suggested that they could use the autopsy to dispel the rumor that Laci was shot in the head and that is why the Prosecutor's Office defied a court order and leaked the autopsy records.
The Prosecution is absolutely desperate and their conduct is absolutely criminal.
It doesn't pay to try to replace the truth with a sleazy, publicity campaign.
Scott "did it" people cannot simply explain away the simple facts:
According to the case timeline, Scott left at 9:30am to the Marina he produced a time-stamped receipt.. Several neighbors saw Laci walking the dog that morning. At 10:30am a neighbor found Laci's dog with a muddy leash wandering in the street... If Laci did not walk the dog, a neighbor would not have found him wandering in the street with his muddy leash at 10:30am while Scott was traveling to the Berkeley Marina. Nobody saw a dog wandering the streets other than the neighbor that found him, therefore the dog was evidently alone in the street for a very short time, confirming the exact time that Laci was kidnapped.
