Re: Re:
*Elawen wandered away from Ellienad and Daisy. The hall was crowded with hungry elves all pushing their way to the serving counter. In one corner stood Elrond, speaking with Brilliond.
Elfie left the room, feeling strangely disturbed by the appearance of her old friend. Somehow, he seemed different. Or maybe it was just her having grown up.
She peeked around the door at him. His dark blond hair was illuminated by the chandiliers hanging from the ceiling. His handsome face was serious as he spoke softly with her father.
Elfie felt her breath catch when he gave a sudden smile, highlighting his handsome features, making him look even younger and more appealing than he already was. Moving away, she felt disturbed. What was happening? She had never felt this way about anyone except Aragorn...

*As Brillion left Daisy sat down upon a bench and started writing again. This time listening to Ellie's singing. Ellie started to dance farther away from Daisy, trying to give her some peace and quiet to write. Daisy now tuned to her writing didn't realize it was starting to get dark. But as she kept writing someone came out from the shadows.*

{Ok, for the sake of time I am going to be Elrond too..for this one post at least.}

Brillond spoke quietly to Elrond. "Mirkwood is safe for the time being, the Orcs and Uruks have limited their raids to the borders of Rohan and Gondor. The help sent from here and from Lorien was much appreciated and was very successful in Mirkwood and is gaining ground along the borders of Rohan and Gondor as well. Our only concern is the increased activity in Mordor, we hope it does not fortell a repeat of history." Elrond nodded. "Thank you Brillond, for all your help. I will see the at the council in the morning." Brillond smiled and gave a small bow. "Yes my lord, good evening." He turned and walked back towards where he had left Elfie, Dee, and Ellienad. As he made his way to the other side of the room he noticed someone watching him out of the corner of his eye. Brillond turned and smiled when he saw Elawen standing in a door way. He walked over to her. "Hello again Elawen, leaving already?"

*Daisy is still sitting outside, still tuned out from the person coming up behind her. Next thing she knows her eyes are being covered by soft hands.*

Person: *whispering* Guess who.

Daisy: Let's see. I recognize these hands from somewhere. Could you be Legolas?

Legolas: Darn... I mean... No...

Daisy: Too late. I caught ya Legolas. You can't trick me. Nobody can.

A new song started up. It was a sad song, mourning for times gone by. It was laden with sorrow, from which its beauty mostly came. Ellienad walked slowly to the end of the hall reserved for dancing. Glancing around, she saw that Brillond was talking to Elawen again. "There's a beautiful couple," she thought to herself. But, somehow, the thought didn't please her. Slowly, in time with the music, she began dancing, threading her way weaving and gliding through the tall Elves, never pairing up with them, though the music and dance was orchestrated for two.

Brillond turned when the music started playing, seeing Ellienad dancing again he smiled to himself and spoke quietly to Elawen. "I will be back Elawen, if you havn't left by the time this dance is over." Moving through the crowd he made his way to the end of the hall, watching the dance as he went. Elves paired in twos coming together then swaying apart in time with the music. He watched Ellienad dance for a moment then, in fluid movements and keeping in perfect time with the music, he began dancing himself. He purposly found himself in front of Ellienad and took her hands in his when the other pairs came together again. He began dancing with her and smiled, talking quietly. "Hello again Ellienad. I hope you don't mind me sharing this dance with you." The music continued softly and he continued to dance with her.

As she circled around once more, Ellienad was surpised to find herself paired with Brillond. She smiled up at him, but inside felt a little bit afraid. Her blue eyes gazed at him as one would look at a thing of great and perilous beauty. In the course of the dance they were separated once more. But when the dance repeated itself once again, bringing partners back together, Brillond found that Ellienad was no longer there.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

Ellienad, reaching the empty halls, ran as swiftly as only she could out into the garden-forest. Her heart was pounding wildly, her eyes wide with fear. She sat down on a bench, shivering in the cold night air.

Brillond stopped dancing and looked around. Seeing Ellienad slip through a door he followed her quietly, outside and into the gardens, and waited a moment before approaching her as she sat upon a stone bench. Brillond walked over to her but did not sit down. "Are you alright Ellienad? Have I done something wrong?" He looked at her, his blue eyes filled with concern. "I imagine my dancing with you was a bit of a suprise, but I hope I havn't offended you in any way. I was only doing what I felt any friend would do."

Re: Re:
*Elawen watched Brillond and Ellie dancing, their innate elvish grace guiding their intricate steps. Slowly, she drew back into the shadows and just as slowly, she left the room. Walking into the gardens, she looked up at the moon shining brightly in the sky. A profound sadness came over her. Even though it had been so long, it seemed to have taken place only yesterday...
Elfie sighed and defiantly wiped away the tears that filled her eyes. Aragorn had chosen that road and his orders had been extremely explicit..she was to stay here. Though she'd promised to stay home, and not come after him, she was scared. How many nights had gone by when she hadn't woken up worrying whether he was safe and alive?
That's when Elfie knew...she couldn't keep waiting for him to come back. She wanted him to be with her and she'd break all the rules to get that wish.
Turning to look at the bright windows and the happy laughter, Elfie listened for a moment and went to her room. Changing into travelling clothes, she pulled her beautiful dark hair back and tied it with a riband. Carefully, she removed the circlet that signified her status as the Princess of Rivendell. Stuffing a few clothes and spares into a bag, Elfie went to the stables. Saddling up her horse, she rode out of Rivendell, stopping only at the gates. Turning back in her saddle, she blew a soft kiss to her family, and then galloped off into the darkness.*

*Outside Daisy and Legolas laugh as if they were making jokes about each other.*

Legolas: How are you so sure you can't be tricked?

Daisy: It's just the way I am. I never could. Even when I lived with Pip, and his family. Although he did a couple times when he lied to me about you coming over. But that was it. Until you really did start coming over, then I got a bit worried.

Legolas: Those were the good ole days. You know Pip was the best match-maker I've ever met. Correct me if I'm wrong, but he did match us up.

Daisy: Oh... You are definately wrong.

Legolas: Oh really? Then who did?

Daisy: *smiling* If I remember correctly, and I know I do, it was your sister.

Looking up at him, Ellienad smiled sadly. "No, no, that's all right Brillond. I wasn't offended. Thank you. I...I just needed some fresh air, is all. You are a very good dancer, although I suppose that goes without saying, you being an Elf. I'm sorry I left in the middle of the dance like that. I don't know what came over me." She stood up, and looked out over the myriads of waters. "It's getting late. I should go back to my room. I've got to get up early tomorrow. Thank you for the dance." She walked away, towards another bridge leading to a different wing of Rivendell.

Re:re
Brillond smiled at her. "I was glad to dance with you Ellienad, it has been a very long time since I've had the pleasure of dancing. I am so often away from Rivendell these days." His smile faded and he nodded. "Goodnight then. Perhaps I shall see thee again before I leave tomorrow. I must return to Mirkwood and from there back to Rohan and Gondor to be of assistance in the skirmishes along the borders."
He watched Ellienad walk away, not quite believing that the only reason she had run was for fresh air but not knowing that he could do anything about it. Turning he walked back towards the home of Elrond, upon approaching the house an elf walked up to him and spoke quickly. "Brillond Annatar, Elrond requests your presence immediately. He is in his quarters." Brillond nodded and quickly entered the home of Elrond, going directly to where he knew Elrond would be. He approached the Lord of Rivendell and gave a bow. "You summoned me lord Elrond?" Elrond turned and nodded. "I'm afraid, Brillond, that I need your assistance in more matters than I previously thought." Elrond looked at him with seriousness. "Elawen is missing. I know she left to seek out Aragorn and join him, though she should know better than to do such a thing at a time like this. I would not worry if she was with Aragorn at this moment but I alone know that Aragorn is fighting along side the men of Gondor and Rohan to defend Minas Tirith. She does not know this. All she knows is Aragorn had orders to follow, and that she was to stay in Rivendell no matter how she felt about him." Elrond paced, sipping a glass of cordial. "I want you to find Elawen Brillond, find her and keep her with you for I know she will refuse to return to Rivendell. You will find it easy to track her, it shouldn't take long to catch up with her." Brillond nodded. "Of course I will find her for you Lord Elrond. Do you wish for her to know where Aragorn is for I tro she will ask of his wherabouts." Elrond nodded. "Tell her only what you must, I do not want her worrying. Aragorn is alive, but in danger every time he sets foot on the battle field." Brillond nodded and gave another bow. "As you wish Lord Elrond, I will seek her immediately if you wish." Elrond looked at him. "If you wouldn't mind doing so, the sooner the better but I tro she can take care of herself well enough to be alright for one night." Brillond bowed low and left Elronds quarters.
Going to his own room Brillond changed into his regular garb of a bowman from Mirkwood and quickly put some clothes and a blanket into a bag. Brillond put on his quiver of arrows and slung his bow over his shoulder, taking up two(roughly macheti sized)knives he put them into two sheaths he also wore across his back with his quiver. Looking around one last time he grabbed an empty sack and put his small throwing axe through a loop on his belt. Brillond found a piece of paper and wrote a note to Ellienad before he left.
Ellienad,
I regret that I was not able to see you again before I left.
It was Elronds wish that I leave during the night as I am now
also supposed to find Elawen who has gone to seek out Aragorn.
Farewell Ellienad, perhaps I shall see thee again when I return.
Brillond Annatar

Leaving his room Brillond made his way back to the great hall where he gave the note to one of Ellienads friends and bid that it be given to her in the morning. Moving swiftly he made his way to the kitchen and stuffed a small loaf of bread and some dried fruit into the empty bag he'd grabbed. Checking one last time to make sure he'd forgotten nothing he headed for the stables where he saddled his stallion and rode out of Rivendell, looking back once to see its warmly glowing lights and hear the soft notes of music and voices drifting on the night breeze. Brillond sighed and looked ahead of him into the darkness. He thought to himself quietly. "I wonder if I shall ever have a place to call home...it seems as though every time I find a place to rest I must leave again."

Re: Re:re
*Elawen galloped through the cool night. She knew it wouldn't be long before her father found out that she was gone and that he would send his best trackers after her. She remembered that Brillond was there too and knew in that instant, that it would be him."Father thinks I'm easy to find. I was once, but all these years of living in the wild, sneaking around and Aragorn's training will keep me hidden from all eyes."
Elfie suppressed a laugh at the thought of Brillond spending days riding hard towards the Shire and then the Lonely Mountain. By the time he'd find out that it was a false trail, she would be already in Gondor. Not once did she doubt that he would not fall for it, for she knew that her prowess as a woodsgirl was beyond even that of her family and beloved. The moonlight flashed on the ring on her finger.Up ahead stood the woods of Lorien. She toyed with the idea of visiting her grandmother but regretfully decided not to. Galadriel was likely to side with Elrond on this matter. Slowing Fëanàro to a walk, she sat down beside the stream that flowed merrily into Anduin. She would spend the night here, Elfie decided. Comfortably settling down against her saddlebags, Elawen fell asleep.*

{OOC: Do not underestimate Brillond;) He'll suprise you everytime...}
Brillond found her trail quickly and followed it until it seemingly headed towards the Shire. Slipping off his stallions back he began to study the tracks. He studied the tracks going towards the shire for a good while, debating wether or not to follow them. "She indeed might have gone this way, yet it doesn't seem right. I must think as she would be thinking...If I was her I certainly wouldn't waist my time going to the Shire to look for Aragorn. Elawen knows enough to know he's not there." Making his decision Brillond began looking for another trail, moving in wide circles and before long he found one. He placed a hand in the hoofmarks finding them still warm. "Ah, So she spent valuable time for running on creating a false trail. She passed here not long ago." Brillond turned and whistled softly for his stallion. Isilmearauka snorted and trotted up to him lightly. Brillond mounted the stallion and began following the fresh tracks he'd found.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~Time Passes~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Brillond came upon Elawen and Fëanàro early in the morning, the sun had not yet risen but the sky was the grey of dawn. He smiled to himself when he saw them..Elawen asleep against the saddlebags, Fëanàro grazing quietly nearby. Relieved Brillond sighed and set about building a small fire to make breakfast. He took a pan, some bread, dried fruit, and some oats out of his saddlebags and set them out near the fire. Placing the pan on the fire he poured some water into it and when it was bubbling he added the oats and stirred until the hot cereal was thick and hot. Adding some dried fruit for flavor he stirred again and removed the pan from direct heat. Brillond rummaged in his bags and brought out two dishes and two spoons. He set them out on a large cloth by the fire along with the bread he'd gotten out as well. Looking at Elawen again he sat back and waited for her to wake, keeping an eye on the hot cereal and ever alert to his surroundings.
Legolas: You know, it could have been the both of them.
Daisy: True, but who really knows?
Legolas: Do you want to go inside?
Daisy: I guess. It is getting a bit nippy out.
Legolas: I was hoping I'd take you inside to dance.
Daisy: Uh... Hun you do remember I can't dance all that well. Right?
Legolas: I could teach you. I know I can.
Daisy: You could try. But you won't be able to.
Re: Re:re
Returning to her room, Ellienad sat down on her bed. The light of the full moon shone on her face, illuminating her fair features, and making her face seem to glow with the Elven light.
Glancing in the mirror, she saw how her face shone. Frowning, she closed the curtains, and lit a candle. Curling up in her bed, she grabbed a large book titled "Valaquenta", and settled down to read it. She could read Quenyan without too much effort, now, but for some reason the beautiful language couldn't hold her attention tonight. Sighing, she put the old book carefully aside, and lay down.
Staring at the delicately carved ceiling, she thought about the day, as she always did, putting her thoughts in order. The day had started well, practicing fighting arts with Master Sellienda as the sun tipped the edges of the dell. Then came Quenya with Master Gentlius, then Elf History with Master Hauldrial. Then lunch, and some time to herself before Dancing with Lady Lelawen. Then painting with the same teacher, mostly in watercolours. And then, as she was leaving the room, she'd seen a stranger, wearing the garb of Mirkwood. He'd introduced himself as Brillond, and said he wished to speak with Master Elrond. And then, it turned out that he actually lived in Rivendell! Not so strange that she'd never seen him before, though, as she'd only been here for a few years. The next few hours had passed almost in a blur, till she was dancing, alone as she always did. She was a familiar sight to the residents of Rivendell, never taking a partner in the coupled dances. But then, as she turned around, she found that Brillond had joined her in the dance. He was a wonderful dancer ...but of course, that could be said of most true Elves... It had been very nice to dance with a partner again. Their bodies moving precisely yet gracefully with the beat, the strong sad music washing over all. But then, she had felt a new emotion. And with this new emotion came fear, fear of feeling emotions so strong. Emotions could betray, could stab you in the heart if you let them loose. She had come very close to losing control. She had to escape. Waiting till the dance took them apart, she slipped out through the crowds of beautiful, angelic beings that towered over her. Running to the forest garden, she sat down. Her heart hadn't beat that fast since she'd tried to race Shellwing! Fear washed over her, leaving her weak. Then, in the midst of her dizzily swirling thoughts, she had heard him again. He stood in front of her, so tall and fair. He wondered if he'd done something wrong, if he'd been rude. Ashamed, she apologized for leaving him, making some petty excuse -she couldn't remember what- and hurried off to her room. And now, now she couldn't even read properly! Muttering something about Elves being too beautiful for their own good, she rolled over and fell asleep.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
The next morning at the break fast, she recieved Brillond's note. Disappointed and relieved at the same time, she turned to her lessons. She had fighting arts first, as always. With her long, sturdy rowan staff, she threw herself into her lesson even more vigorously than usual.
"Careful, there, you're overreaching yourself," Master Sellienda commented. "If you stretch out that far, you couldn't defend a side attack at all. Do you think yrch will attack one at a time?"
She drew her staff back, breathing heavily. Repeating the strike, she didn't stretch out quite so far, and quickly brought it back again.
*Legolas drags Daisy inside to dance. He teaches her the steps to the dance the others are doing. Daisy got into the groove of the dance, and danced as well as the elves. But it got late and they both went to bed. Walking to their rooms they kissed goodnight and went to separate rooms.*
*Elawen stretched out. The ground here was rather soft and she had slept well. She lay there, eyes closed, listening to the sounds of the morning....birds chirping, the stream bubbling away merrily, the sharp tang of wood smoke.
Elfie opened her eyes and sat up with a jerk. There wasn't supposed to be a fire! She looked around to find the lighter..and saw Brillond sitting there.*
"Good morning!" he said, his eyes twinkling.
"Brillond..what..what are you doing here?!" Elfie cried out.
"Your father sent me after you. He was worried you might put yourself in danger." Brillond's eyes stopped twinkling and he looked at the young girl soberly." You're not to do things like this, my dear. You might get hurt."
"Have all of you forgotten," Elawen spoke, her voice cutting steel." That I am a warrior? I am quite capable of taking care of myself, thankyouverymuch!"
"That's beside the point. I know that you could probably take on a legion or two of yrchs by yourself, but that is not the reason Elrond doesn't want you to go to Aragorn."
*Elfie stood up and walked over to Brillond.Her dark eyes flamed in the morning sunlight as she looked into his troubled blue ones.*
"Elawen, please don't make me force you to come home!" Brillond pleaded.
*Elfie laughed, her eyes shining with what Brillond suspected were tears.*
"You couldn't even if you wanted to, my lord. I am as free as the wind!"
*Uttering that cryptic sentence, Elawen vaulted onto Fëanàro's back and galloped off, Fëanàro's hooves barely touching the ground. Brillond looked after the elf in despair bordering anger. It was going to take him considerable time to catch up with her, even with his Isilmearauka's speed. Mounting Isilmearauka, he set off in pursuit of Elfie*
Brillond leaped onto his stallions back and followed Elawen, catching up to her he grabbed Fëanàro's reins and stopped the horse. Brillond looked at Elawen with firmness yet understanding in his eyes. "I am not here to debate your capability to take care of yourself Elawen." He looked ahead of them and nodded. "Which, I hope you will think about seriously as you almost rode yourself into the enemies hands." He motioned ahead of them to a band of Orcs who were creeping through the woods. "To keep yourself alive you must first control your emotions Elawen. Your anger almost got you kidnapped..or worse." Brillond looked at her. "As for taking you home, I have no intention to do so. I have business to attend to wich your father is well aware of. He gave me clear instructions. I am to keep you with me until I return to Rivendell in a few weeks. If you wish to see Aragorn I suggest you come with me peaceably because I am going to see Aragorn as soon as possible."
{OOC:...Elfie I have only one thing to ask of you, please do not play Brillond. I am Brillond and I will play him. I'm not mad or anything, I'm just not comfortable with others playing my characters(speaking for them instead of waiting for me to post.). I hope you understand this and aren't angry at me either. Thank you.}
