I intend to keep coming back. I'd like to join but some ofthe posts i read here seem... ehm confusing. I looks as if you all already know eachother for quite a while and i got no idea if i'm welcom. just feeling a little out of place. I always need time to warm up.

Hi, and welcome. I mean that. Allow me to say that again. WELCOME! Just 'cause we sort of know each other doesn't mean we don't want you. I think it's safe to say we have two common ties around here: Tolkien and elbereth elvenstar (she is an elf). Those are not requirements, they're just what mostly ties us together. That, and the war against evil, especially rubberfroggy. You can meet elbereth soon, and, um, have you ever read Tolkien's stuff? And for the war, you just have to sign up! While we try to keep the standard of the board up, rubberfroggy has been coming with his minions like theone in this thread..*sigh* We reprisent the good of Tolkien, and whenever Bad sticks its ugly nose in here, feel free to slap it, compliments ET.

There are lots of other characters who keep peeping in here and my memory is failing me so I can't remember everyone.You'll meet them if you keep coming back.
Then ofcourse, there's rbnfrrg fondly known as rubberfroggy.He supports the dark side and like Ellie said, brings his minions in to get a good clout on his nose (and theirs) each time.
Don't feel left out...start taking part in the discussions(if they can be called that ) and you'll soon feel right at home.

already feeling more at home. Thank you. Some one said something about crazy people: i should be able to handle that, but will they be able to handle me? only time can tell.
And yeah, i read Tolkien. thelotr trilogy, the silmarillion and i got the hobbit and the unfinished tales from the library yesterday. Now I olny need to find time to read it.

Oh Elfie. You forgot something. Though I don't know if you heard yet. Meri's brother, Legolas obviously, and I are getting married. Next year so you know. I already told Meri she could be one of my bridesmaids. Anyone else would like to join in the weding party ask me, and anyone you want to invite along, same thing.

Sorry Daisy, my memory is not the best in the world Legolas is taken and so is Aragorn.I'm engaged to him.We're not sure when we're getting married though, probably when peace falls on Middle-Earth I guess.Or maybe before. *shrugs* We haven't set a date yet.

No, figwit won't do. Sorry, but i don't get why some people are so crazy about him. He's an unimportant side character!
He doesn't even have a name in the credits at the end of the movie! No, I know there's someone better out there for me (sorry, figwit, nothing personal) I just have to find him. And since I'm and elf I got all the time of the world.
