Re: Middle-Earth: Ten years Later.
((Yup, apparently I'm living in Buckland with Merrykins. :D ))

*Meri opens the door*
Meri: Who is- RB! It's good to see you! *the two hug* What are you doing out this way, with Frodo and the child none the less!

RB: Can't a friend stop by?

Meri: Of course! Come on in! *the visitors enter the hole* I take it you are on the way to somewhere?

RB: You guessed it- we're off to visit Daisy and your brother.

Meri: Really? We're just going to have to come along- I haven't seen them in a few years. I miss taunting my brother, but, you know how Merry wanted to stay in the Shire. And after all he went through, I couldn't blame him.

Saruman: I will assist you in this endeavor. I have protected the Ring of Isengard for many a year now and no harm has come to it, or to Rohan for that matter.

I shut my eyes and turned them on my heart.

I asked one draught of earlier, happier sights,
Ere fitly I could hope to play my part.

((lol, nevermind- I just wasn't sure if I wanted to live in Mirkwood or not. I mean, I'm only 560 at this point! That's too young to make decisions! ;) Buckland's fine- especially since it's on the way))
Meri: Just give us a bit of time to pack. Merry!

*Merry walks into the room*
Merry: What? Oh! RB! Frodo! What brings you here?

Meri: They're on the way to visit Dee and Pretty Boy. I'm going to go with them- want to come along?

Merry: *shrugs* Sure. I miss taunting him regularly!

Meri: *laughs, then to RB* See what I have to put up with?

((It's so confusing to have almost the same name! I keep typing the wrong one!))

Re: Middle-Earth: Ten years Later.
Daisy: Thank you Saruman... I suppose we should go inside now. It's starting to feel a bit nippy out.

Saruman: I suppose so.

*Daisy and Saruman walked back inside. They walked to the room that Saruman was vacating. The two friends bid their goodnights to each other. Saruman went inside his room, and Daisy went back to the main hall. Once there, she told her children that it was time for bed. The seven younger ones whined, but Daisy said she would hear none of it.*

Celebrindor & Bard: How come Calen can stay up later, but we cannot?

Daisy: Because she is older than you. She may be my step-daughter, but I let her do whatever she wishes.

Legolas: You're so easy on her, you know?

Daisy: I know. I may treat her like my daughter, even though she is not, I do, and I will let her do whatever she wishes to do.

Bardolfe: *running in out of breath* Mi'lady! Mi'lady!

Daisy: Yes?

Bardolfe: Thalius' kin are threatening to attack tonight.

Daisy: What? Why? We have done nothing wrong to them.

Bardolfe: They just want to start a war... They also want to hurt all the familes in this kingdom. But most of all they want to kill you, mi'lady.

Saruman: *walking in after hearing the news* No one shall hurt my dear Daisy, who has been like a granddaughter to me. His family shall perish.

Daisy: We must get all the families to the caves.

Bardolfe: What about every man and strong boy?

Daisy: Take them to the keep, give them armour and swords. Hopefully they would fight for their kingdom.

Legolas: Daisy you must take the children to the caves.

Calentauriel: Even me father?

Legolas: You need to keep your mother safe.

Daisy: Legolas let her help. I can take care of myself in the caves.

Legolas: Are you sure you sure you are up to this Calentauriel?

((Hey Meri, can we make a few pit-stops on the way? Like Gondor?))

A few minutes later, everything was packed a ready to go. Meri and Merry mounted their trusty steeds.

Meri: I guess we're off.

The groupd started off at a quick trot, but hen they got out to more open places, they went faster.

Re: Middle-Earth: Ten years Later.
*Elawen wandered through her garden disconsolately. Any other day, this green haven would have evoked in her the greatest pleasure on earth, but not today.
Flopping down in the summerhouse that Aragorn had had built for her earlier on, she stared into the brightly colored flower bushes. She heaved a great sigh.*

Elfie: Twenty four days it has been and yet he sees it fit not to return.
*She touched the drooping head of a brilliant yellow flower. It blossomed out again. She smiled slightly, but her mouth drooped again.*
Elfie:*addressing the flower* Obviously, he prefers the company of his men to that of his wife.
*From the far side of the garden, there was the sound of voices. Elawen raised her head as two young children, a boy and a girl, ran over to her.*
Boy: Mother!!!! Tell Laurea to stop troubling me!!
*Laurea giggled wickedly. Her gray eyes, so like her father's danced in her angelic face. Her brother, the Crown Prince of Gondor and Arnor, watched her with anger migled with despair. Eldarion resembled his mother in looks, with dark eyes and golden-brown hair, but his temperment was of his father, serious with dry humour.*
Elfie: Laurea, dont tease your brother so. He doesn't like it.
Laurea: *smugly* I know that..that's why I'm doing it. Eldarion took the leaf that Grandfather gave me didn't he?
Elfie:*raising an eyebrow in a blushing Eldarion's direction* Eldarion?
Eldarion: Well...she took my sword!!
Laurea: *hotly* Only because you took Grantha!
Elfie: Quiet, both of you!!! Really you two act as if you're theives stealing from each other!
*She turned to her son* Eldarion, don't you have Heru Nólaquen coming today?
Eldarion:*thinking hard* Err...yes.
Elfie: And have you done your homework?
Eldarion:*sighing* I'll go now.
*He trooped off dejectedly, his bow trailing on the ground behind him*
Laurea:*sitting in her mother's lap* Poor Eldarion!Having to study!
Elfie: Don't worry my love. You'll be joining him before the month's out.
Laurea: What?!
*Elawen settled Laurea at her feet and picked up a pearl comb that lay on the table next to her. She began to drag it through her daughter's golden locks for which she had been named. It wasn't easy, the hair was tangled rather badly*
Elfie: Honestly child, where have you been! Look at your hair!
Laurea:*wincing as the brush caught a vicious tangle* We climbed up to the turrett. No, we didn't go alone. Rasthrar was with us.
*Elawen took away the brush. The hair lay smoothly over Laurea's back, shining in the sun.*
Elfie:*satisfied* That's better. Now go to Rasthrar..its time for your lessons.
*Laurea grumbled good-naturedly as she jumped up. Pushing back her hair, she ran off. She stopped at the gate and looked back.*
Laurea: Mother? When will Father be coming back?
Elfie:*closing her eyes* I don't know sweetheart, he didn't say.
Laurea: Well I hope he comes soon!! I have so much to tell him!!
*Elawen smiled at her daughter's purposeful face. Laurea turned back again.*
Are Airan Legolas and Aira Daisy coming too?
Elfie:*half-asleep* Mmmhmm. They should be here by tommorow I think. Airan Saruman is coming with them.
Laurea:*clapping her hands* Oh goody!! Now I can learn some magic!!! Airan Gandalf won't teach me..he says I'm too young!
Elfie:*opening one eye to look at her daughter's indignant face* He's right, you know. You might hurt yourself.
Laurea: But you learnt magic when you were eight.
Elfie: Times were different then, melamin. I needed to know how to defend myself. And a great nuisance I was too, both to Gandalf and your father. Now run along! Rasthrar is waiting for you.
*Laurea sniffed and ran off. Elawen got up with a smile. Atleast tommorow she wouldn't feel so lonely. She wandered towards the battlements and looked out over the country of Gondor.*
Elfie:*in a soft voice*Aì Dùnedan!Manke naa lle?

*Daisy, still helping the families of Windigate to the caves. At hearing a knock on the palace door she runs to it and sees a tall dark figure off in the distance. She calls to the shadowy stranger and asks who it was. No answer. She calls again to the stranger. Still no answer. Daisy calls to her palace guard.*

Daisy: Bardolfe.

Bardolfe: Yes, Mi'lady?

Daisy: You see that figure off in the distance?

Bardolfe: Yes, Mi'lady.

Daisy: Go fetch that person and invite them into the castle.

Bardolfe: Yes, Mi'lady. *runs off to find a horse and rides out of the palace gates.*

Re: Middle-Earth: Ten years Later.
*Laurea ran and looked out of the window impatiently. She stamped her foot. No one had come!! She sat down again, her little face wrinkled in thought. Mother wouldn't be pleased to see her...that horrible man from the Trade Unions had come again. She was tired of playing with Grantha and Rasthrar was boring company. Maybe if Eldarion had finished their lessons, they could go riding.
Laurea scrambled up and ran towards Eldarion's room. She put her ear to the door. She couldn't hear Heru Nólaquen's voice. Knocking once, she pushed the door open.
Eldarion looked up to see his sister come in.*

Eldarion: No!
Laurea:*puzzled* But I haven't even spoken yet!
Eldarion: I know whatever you're going to say is only going to get us into trouble.
Laurea:*miffed* I only wanted to go out riding and I cant go alone, so I wanted to know if you'd come with me.
Eldarion:*suspiciously* Only riding??
Laurea: I didn't know you were such a scaredy-cat, big brother!
*Eldarion got up from his desk. He put down his quill purposefully in its standish and picked up his cloak. Laurea jumped up and down with glee, clapping her hands. They went down to the stables. The stable-hands, seeing them, jumped up and bowed. One man, older than the rest, came forward.*
Laurea:*smiling* Morrow, Abott. Please saddle up Windfoot and Lightening.
Abott: You're going out? Alone? You know that is not allowed my lady.
Laurea:*eyes open innocently* Ofcourse I'm not! Eldarion's going with me.
*Abott looked at Eldarion with inquiring eyes. Eldarion rolled his own and nodded. Abott grinned and with a "Don't go too far," walked away.
Few minutes later, the two horses were saddled. The two children vaulted up into the saddle without any help. Their Elvish breeding had insured that they were superb equestrians from the start.
The two rode out onto the wide grasslands outside the city. Wingfoot, whom Laurea was riding, snorted eagerly.*

Laurea: Let's ride to Rohan.
Eldarion:*sarcastically* Why not? We can reach there within a few hours!
Laurea:*unabashed* Alright, lets ride towards Rohan!
* The two urged their horses into a canter and rode across the smooth fields. Laurea suddenly pushed Wingfoot into a gallop, taking Eldarion by suprise. Instinctively, he put Lightening into a gallop.*
Eldarion: *shouting* Laurea!! Slow down!!
Laurea: Catch me if you can, big brother!!
* Eldarion's eyes suddenly sparkled. So the little hussy wanted a race did she? He let Lightening enter a full-paced gallop and slowly gained on his sister. On and on they raced, across meadows and fields, till finally Laurea slowed down to a walk. Eldarion drew up beside her, his eyes glowing, a flush in his cheeks.*
Eldarion: That was fun!!
*Laurea nodded enthusiastically. From behind, there came a sound of clapping. The two children turned around to see a short, sallow man come forward. He was dressed in strange clothes. They seemed to be made of leaves. Gold hung on his ears. A battered hat sat on his head.*
Man: Well ridden, little ones!! But..who may you be and why do you come here?
Laurea: We could ask the same of you?
Man:*pensively* So much mistrust in the world! Even the children have it. But, I..I am Jirsa, leader of the Klong-Nái. And this is my forest.
*Eldarion drew a sharp breath. The Klong-Nái! Remnants of the Southrons who had once worshipped Sauron and bandits in Gondor. This was a fine kettle of fish!! He tried to motion to Laurea to keep quiet, but she did not see him*
Laurea: *haughtily* This is not your forest! This forest belongs to the King.
Jirsa:*laughing* Gondorians! And defenders of the King! Nay, little one! This forest is mine!!! But you haven't answered my questions.
Eldarion: *hastily*We are from Gondor..this is my sister Ljela and I am Orthar.
*Jirsa nodded thoughtfully, his eyes upon the boy. Eldarion gave back stare for stare. Jirsa gave a small shrug and whistled sharply. Twenty men clad similar to Jirsa appeared and circled them.*
Jirsa: Such fine clothes you wear, Orthar. Clothes fit for a prince of Gondor infact. Now, come quietly and we will not hurt you.
*Laurea edged Wingfoot closer to Lightening. Eldarion nodded at her reassuringly. They made as if to make their horses move forward, following Jirsa. In a lightening-fast move, three of the men fell to the ground, arrows sticking out of their chest. Eldarion looked down approvingly.*
Eldarion: My word, Laurea! You've improved!
*Jirsa swung around to see another two of his men fall. Cursing out loud, he whistled again, louder this time.
Close onto forty men came out of the woods, armed with bows and arrows and swords, circling them.*

Jirsa: You may want to put down your weapons, my lord and lady! Unless you wish to die early!
*The two lowered their arms slowly. Someone walked forward and removed their bows.*
Jirsa: Now, get off those horses. Quickly!
* Eldarion and Laurea dismounted. Their hands were bound behind them and they were pushed forward. Suddenly, a loud horn was heard. Over and over again it sounded. The earth began to tremble.*
Jirsa: The army!!! Run!!
* Over a hundred horsemen burst through the trees and over the road, wearing the armour of Gondor. Their sheilds and spears glittered brightly in the morning sunlight.
Jirsa and his men had no time to react. The horsemen rode over them, slashing down at the running figures.*

Eldarion:*crying out loudly* Ride on, Gondor!!Ride on!!
*Two horsemen came galloping towards them. Reaching downwards, they swept the two children up. Laurea looked up at the helmeted face above her.*
Laurea:*unfazed* Hello Airan Faramir!
*Faramir looked down at the little girl sternly, though his eyes twinkled.*
Faramir: You, my dear, are in trouble. Your father will have a lot to say to you.
*Eldarion looked up at the face above him. Two grey eyes stared out grimly in front. Feeling the boy's gaze upon him, Aragorn looked down.*
Aragorn: You will explain everything once we get home.

*Elawen left a hysterical Rasthrar's room with relief. First the Trade Union and now the children! She walked towards the courtyard. Feánàro was waiting for her.
A clattering sound from the streets pervaded through her thoughts. Looking out of the nearest window, she saw the bright sheilds and tossing plumes of Gondor. Her heart lifted. Aragorn!
She reached the courtyard just as the king rode in with his personal bodyguard. Elawen gave a laugh as she saw Laurea and Eldarion slide down from the saddle's pommel and run to her. Aragorn took off his helmet and followed his two children, though more sedately.*

Laurea and Eldarion: Mummy! We went out riding and we were racing and oh mum! we were captured!! By the Klong-Nái!! But we put up a good fight! Laurea got three of them and so did I!! And then Daddy and Airan Faramir came with the army and...
Aragorn:*coming up*..and saved the day. Nae saian luume', melamin!*He leaned down and kissed Elawen.* Did you miss me?
Elfie:*holding onto him* Twenty-eight days, Elessar!!!
Aragorn:*whispering in her ear* I'll make it up to you.
*He kissed Elawen again and then looked down sternly at his two children. Laurea smiled enchantingly and threw her arms around her father's waist. Eldarion went and hugged him from behind. He looked at them in mock-anguish*
Faramir:*grinning* I see they've inherited brains from the elvish side.
Elfie:*laughing* Faramir! it's been too long!*She hugged him.* How is Eowyn?
Faramir: In a delicate situation at the moment.
Elfie:*raising an eyebrow* How many children do you plan on having?!
*Laughing, they went inside the palace, Laurea and Eldarion exchanging a relieved glance. Elawen, seeing that glance, turned on them.*
Elfie: You two however, have had enough fun for one day. You can spend the rest of the day in your rooms. We shall talk later. And you can apologize to Rasthrar on your way.
*The two glared mutinously at her. Aragorn caught them both gently by the ear and escorted them to their rooms.*

Re: Middle-Earth: Ten years Later.
*Ten minutes later Bardolfe comes back to the castle with the stranger that knocked on the palace gate. To Daisy's surprise it was her dear friend Wolfie.*

Daisy: Wolfie! What a pleasant surprise. How have you been?

Legolas: *confused* Wolfie? What is she doing here at a time like this?

Daisy: Maybe she came to help with this war that's coming to us.

Legolas: Just curious dear... Would you rather go to Gondor and visit Elfie and Aragorn?

Daisy: Well we would have to tell the children and the people about it. But I do not know whether Gondor would have enough room for our people.

Legolas: We could ask them once we get there dear.

Daisy: We would also need to tell Saruman about it.

Saruman: *just walking in* I think it would be safer to go to Gondor.

Daisy: But... But wouldn't Gondor be threatened by taking us in. I mean, this war is only for us to fight isn't it?

Legolas: That is true. But our people and our children would not be any safer.

Wolfie: Then let me take them to Gondor. I will make sure hat they get there safely. With my chaos powers I will protect them for you.

Daisy: Only hurt the opposing army. Remember, we'll need our people back once Windigate is free from war... Oh and could you tell Elawen and Aragorn about this please?

Legolas: Daisy you should go there as well. With our people and our children.

Daisy: You're right. I forgot I cannot do much of anything as of now. Darn... Bardolfe, could you fetch Midnight for me please?

Bardolfe: Yes, Mi'lady. *runs off to stables.*

Re: Middle-Earth: Ten years Later.
Daisy: *hugging Wolfie* Thank you my dear friend... *deep breath* I suggest we start off now before we're caught in the war.

*Daisy walked outside where her horse Midnight is waiting. With Lightening, another one of Daisy's many horses which she set free to the wilderness. She gave Lightening to Legolas. Legolas followed Daisy outside with some of their younger children.*

Legolas: Daisy please be careful riding out there. Make sure none of the children get hurt.

Daisy: Do not worry Legolas. They will be safe. Remember we have Wolfie with us. *looks at Wolfie* Although I'm curious to know if she'll help us fight in the war.

Wolfie: Of course I will, my friend.

Legolas: I'll tell Saruman that you will be venturing off to Gondor.

Saruman: I already know about it Legolas. I am willing to help with this war still. I will also help Daisy get to Gondor safely.

Legolas: Thank you Saruman... Daisy please be careful. *hugs and kisses her.*

Daisy: Do not fret Legolas. I will be safe. As will the children, and the new one.

*Soon enough Daisy was off with Saruman and Wolfie riding beside her. Calentauriel and her seven younger half-siblings followed behind Daisy. Bard and Celebrindor rode on the other horses that their mother had in the stables. Celebrindor rode on Lightening, while Bard rode another horse by the name of Hasufel. Arien, one of the triplet girls rode with Calentauriel. The other children rode with some of the guards of the castle. Legolas stayed by the castle watching his wife and all of his children ride off towards Gondor.*

Legolas: *speaking under his breath* Be careful my wife and children.

Bardolfe: *placing his hand on Legolas' shoulder* Mi'lord. It is time to get your armour on and your weapons ready.

Legolas: Alright Bardolfe. I am coming.

*Legolas turns away from looking down the path that Daisy, Calentauriel, Wolfie, Saruman, the other children, and the whole town of Windigate travelled. He knew that they were safe, and when he turned around again everyone disappeared from sight. Then he turned back around and went inside the castle to get his armour on and his weapons ready.*
