Re: Middle-Earth: Ten years Later.
Legolas: I have to do something. I don't want her thinking I had forgotten her.

Arawyn: Father? Where has mummy gone?

Legolas: Araywn, go back to bed, please?

Arawyn: I want to know where mummy went.

Legolas: Do not worry, sweetie, I will get her back.

Arawyn: Aunt Meri, where did my mother go?

Meri: *looking at the small child* I don't want to upset you Arawyn, I think it is best I do not tell you.

*Arawyn walks out of the room, still confused on why no one will tell her where her mother is. She finds her eldest brothers, Celebrindor and Bard with Elfie's son, Eldarion.*

Arawyn: Celebrindor, Bard!

Celebrindor & Bard: Arawyn! What's wrong?

Arawyn: No one will tell me where mummy has gone. Do you know where she has gone to?

Celebrindor: Not I. I have not seen mother since she had saved you.

Bard: I as well. Sorry little sister.

Arawyn: *moping* It is all right.

Celebrindor: *putting his arm around his sister's shoulders* Do not worry, Arawyn. I'm sure she will be back.

Sealamin: Vicmorn, bring Daisy to me please?

Vicmorn: *bowing* Yes sir.

*Vicmorn leaves. Then ten minutes later he comes back with a struggling, bloodied up, Daisy.*

Sealamin: Hello again my dear.

Daisy: *straining to get every word out* What do you want with me?

Sealamin: To make you my wife, of course. *to Vicmorn* Tie her back up and set her on the floor.

*Vicmorn does as he is told, and ties Daisy, then sets her on the floor.*

Sealamin: It pains me to see you like this, my dear, dear Daisy.

Daisy: *gritting her teeth* I'm sure it does.

Sealamin: How about we do a mind meld? Where I read your thoughts and you read mine?

Daisy: How about we don't. Why would I want to read your thoughts? Why would I even want you reading mine?

Sealamin: *slaps her* Do not question me. I will harm you like, Maximus had done to your twin daughters.

Daisy: *a scared look on her face* No!

Sealamin: Vicmorn!

Vicmorn: Yes mi'lord?

Sealamin: Send another scroll to Legolas, about how I ravaged his wife.

Vicmorn: Yes sir.

*Vicmorn leaves. Sealamin begins to get an evil look on his face, with a smile no one's ever seen. Daisy scoots into the closest corner, and begins to shudder in fear.*

Sealamin: Come here!

*Sealamin jumps on top of Daisy. She screams, but then it is muffled.*

*english accent*
Meri: I'll turn you into a chicken.
Daisy: But I don't want to be a chicken! Can't I be something less... Chickeny?

Re: Middle-Earth: Ten years Later.
*Legolas sat in Elfie's room thinking about how to get Daisy back. Then his thoughts were interrupted by a bad instinct of something happening to his wife. He stands up and storms out of the room.*

Aragorn: *yelling* Legolas! Where are you going?

*Legolas said nothing.*

Meri: Leg! Please tell us what is wrong?

Legolas: I'm going to go rescue Daisy. Something horrible has happened to her.

Elfie: What's wrong with her now?

Legolas: Sealamin has ravaged her. *voice turns to anger* I'm off to kill him.

RB: What is with you people and killing. You do know a war will begin if there is so much killing in this world?

Legolas: Maybe I'll just injure him, and take him and his marauders as prisoners.

Aragorn: I'm coming with you.

Elfie: Aragorn!

Aragorn: Elawen I promise I'll be home for you.

Legolas: Aragorn, stay here with your wife. I'll take my soldiers.

*Aragorn nods. Legolas leaves to go suit up into his armour. Once he finished suiting up, he walked out to the stables. He mounted his horses, and rode to the gates of Gondor, waited for his soldiers to assemble behind him. Once they assembled, the gates swung open, and Legolas and the Windan soldiers raced out of Gondor towards the Golden Mountain where Daisy was taken to.*

Meri: I'll turn you into a chicken.

*Aragorn watched the Windan soldiers marching across the plains, a slight frown on his face. Elawen looked at her husband, a wistful expression on her face. She knew what he wanted to do and why he didn't. Taking a deep breath, she spoke to him.*
Elfie: Go, Aragorn.
Aragorn:*turning around* What?
Elfie: I know you want to go with them...go.
Aragorn:*coming over to her* No, Elawen. I cannot leave you. Not right now.
*Elawen smiled. He looked so serious, afraid that something would happen to her. She laid a hand on his cheek.*
Elfie: I'll be fine. I've done this twice before. Don't worry.
*Aragorn looked at her, and then longingly out of the window, and then back again at her. He shook his head firmly.*
Aragorn: No...I'll stay with you. It's my place.
Elfie: Aragorn?
Aragorn: Yes?
Elfie: Go.
*He looked at her for one long moment and then nodded. Kissing her, he packed up the things he wanted to take along with him. At the door, he halted.*
Aragorn: If you're sure....
Elfie: Yes!! Just come back home!!
*Aragorn smiled at her and left. Later, she heard him riding away, the knights of his guard about him.*
Elfie: Naamarie, Elessar. Cormamin niuve tenna' ta elea lle au'.

*Aragorn and his soldiers rode beside Legolas and his soldiers. Legolas looked at Aragorn for a time, then spoke.*

Legolas: Guilted her into letting you go didn't you?

Aragorn: Me? Guilt my wife into letting me go with you? No...

Legolas: *smirking* Uh huh. Sure.

Aragorn: What's that supposed to mean?

Legolas: Nothing. Let's just get to Daisy as quick as possible.

*Aragorn nodded in agreement. He, Legolas and their soldiers, combined, rode off quickly as ever. They were atleast twenty miles from the Golden Mountains, where she was taken to. The company rested for five minutes so to get some food and water. After five minutes pass, they mount again and start off.*

Re: Middle-Earth: Ten years Later.
*Elawen sat on a chair. She wasn't feeling too well. There was an uneasy feeling in her mind. Hoping that some fresh air would make her feel better, she got up and left her room. She was going to her garden that Aragorn had had specially planted for her, with all the flowers and trees that she wanted.
Rb looked out of french windows in her room, watching nothing in particular. Frodo was sleeping, as was his custom after a satisfying (and big) meal. A movement caught her eye. Looking down, she saw her friend wander into a beautiful garden. Flowers grew in profusion, birds set up such a din that Rb could hear it even through the windows.
It occurred to Rb that Elawen was not looking too well. Her face, even from this distance, was seen to be pale and she moved with slow, labouring steps, each causing her pain. Rb watched in horror as suddenly Elawen crumpled to the ground and lay there in a still, sorry heap.
Tearing out of her room, Rb yelled out to the guards and with them following her, ran into the garden. Her friend's breathing was shallow, her face ashen, she was moaning softly.
Rb indicated to a captain who had followed her, Mirjayn.*

Rb: You, please take Her Majesty to her room.
Mirjayn:*doubtfully* Should she be moved?
Rb:*stamping her foot* I'm telling you to take her to her room! There is no time! Her Highness is seriously ill!! One of you, run to the Healing Houses!! Quickly!!
*Mirjayn gently lifted the Queen's prostrate form and bore her back into the castle and to her room. As he laid her down, her eyes fluttered open and she looked at Rb uncomprehendingly. Recognition dawned and she faintly smiled.*
Elfie:*whispering* Rose! What are you doing here? Wh-where am I?
Rb: You're in your room. Hush now! The Master will be here soon.
Elfie: Rose...something's wrong...the twins...
Rb:*outwardly calm*Are fine. Don't worry yourself. Everything will be alright.
Elfie:*eyes closing* Eldarion...Laurea...look after them...if..if something...happens...
Rb:*catching her hand* Adone-do! Nothing's going to happen.
*Rb watched as she fell into a swoon and waited impatiently for the doctor to come. They had no time....*

Re: Middle-Earth: Ten years Later.
*As Legolas and Aragorn crossed the border of Mordor to get towards the Golden Mountain where Daisy was. Aragorn got the feeling of something being wrong with Elawen. He stopped, Legolas looked at him.*

Legolas: Aragorn? What's wrong?

Aragorn: Something's wrong with Elawen.

Legolas: Go be with her then.

Aragorn: I told you I would not leave your side for this.

Legolas: Your wife is more important than this. Besides, Faramir can lead the Gondorian army.

Aragorn: All right. Becareful my friend... Faramir, lead the army, please?

Faramir: Yes your highness. *he rides up next to Legolas*

*Aragorn rides back to Gondor fast as lightning. Both armies salute him as he rides past. Once he's gone, both of the armies start off again. Now at a quicker pace. They rest for a few minutes once they reach near Mirkwood.*

Hammond: My Lord.

Legolas: Yes?

Hammond: You all right?

Legolas: I'm fine. Just a little frightened about what happened to Daisy.

Hammond: I'm sure she's fine your highness.

*In the Golden Mountain Daisy is in a dungeon cell curled up in a corner. Sealamin walks up to the cell and begins laughing.*

Sealamin: Well, well, well... Daisy's scared. Her husband isn't here to rescue her. I guess I win.

Nathan: I don't think so, Sealamin.

Sealamin: What? Who are you to say that to me?

Nathan: I am Daisy's brother. You should remember me. I beat you in a sword fight once. It was the only time I fought you also.

Sealamin: Want to try again? Though I highly doubt you can beat me this time.

*Nathan and Sealamin both take out their swords, and begin fighting.*

Re: Middle-Earth: Ten years Later.
*Nathan and Sealamin kept fighting both of their swords sparking, as they hit one another, or the stone in the dungeon. Daisy watched from a distance so not to get hurt. But as the fight moved away she moved towards the door of her cell, hoping her brother doesn't get injured. She thought of conjuring up a spell, but that might kill Nathan, Sealamin and her. She finally yells something to Nathan.*

Daisy: Nathan! Be careful. He likes to fight dirty!

Sealamin: *pointing to Daisy, yells* You shut up! *now gurgles* I've been stabbed.

Nathan: I've finally killed someone who's hurt my sister.

Sealamin: You fool! You should know that you can't kill...... *drops to the floor on last breath*

Nathan: He's dead!

Daisy: Nathan, check his belt, he has the keys.

*Nathan does as his sister instructed, grabs the keys from Sealamin and then goes to unlock the door to his sister's cell. Once she's freed the two of them hug. What they never noticed is that Sealamin had risen from the ground. He had a dagger in his hand about to stab Nathan. Daisy saw this and stood in front of her brother just as Sealamin went to thrust his dagger into Nathan. Instead it went into Daisy.*

Nathan: NO! Daisy!

*Nathan grabs his sword and thrusts it deep into Sealamin's heart. Once Sealamin has dropped dead, hopefully for the last time, Nathan goes to take care of his sister.*

Nathan: *with tears in his eyes* Daisy? Daisy, are you all right?

Daisy: *struggling to get every word out* I... Don't know... This is really painful.

Nathan: You'll be all right. Please stay with me?
____________________________________________________
*Near Mordor, Legolas, his army, Faramir, and the army of Gondor suit up to get to the Golden Mountain, yet again. Legolas mounts his horse and has a vision of Daisy being stabbed. He yells to the armies to hurry and mount. They do as he commands and mount their horses. Once all are on their horses, they ride off quick as lightning towards the Golden Mountain.

An hour passes, and they reach the mountain where Daisy was taken to. Legolas, Faramir and both armies rush into the Golden mountain finding anyone who had helped Sealamin in the kidnapping of Daisy. Legolas and Faramir rushed downstairs to the dungeon to find Daisy. Once there they see Daisy and her brother Nathan.
*

Legolas: Nathan... What happened?

Nathan: I've killed Sealamin. He stabbed Daisy. It was intentioned for me, but she stood in front of me and took it.

Legolas: Is she...?

Nathan: Dead? No. But she has lost a lot of blood from being stabbed.

Legolas: We must get her out of here, and to Mirkwood.

Nathan: What about Gondor?

Legolas: My old home, which is still home to me, is closer. Come, let us go.

*Nathan, Legolas, and Farmir exit the dungeon, whilst carrying Daisy. Once upstairs, they find all of Sealamin's followers chained to each other, ready to be arrested. Legolas places Daisy on their horse, Hofand. Then mounts himself. He lends Nathan, Daisy's horse Lightning. The company rides off to Mirkwood. Once there, Legolas asks Faramir to take the prisoners to Gondor. Faramir nods, and waves to both armies and yells to them to start off towards Gondor. Once they're gone, Legolas and Nathan rush to the hospital wing of Mirkwood and bring Daisy with them, while she's still on horse back.*

Re: Middle-Earth: Ten years Later.
*Meri's upstairs in her room. She went there after Legolas had left to get Daisy's horse. She heard screaming from Elfie's room and Went to investigate. Soon as she was there, she saw that Elfie was limp, and Rb was taking care of her. Meri offered to help.*
____________________________________________________
*In Mirkwood, Legolas and Nathan are sitting outside the healing house. The doctor came out to talk to the both of them. They stood up.*

Dr. Damos: I am sorry your highness. She cannot be revived. She's lost so much blood. There is no way we can help her unless it was by a miracle.

Legolas: *grabs Damos' shoulders, and starts crying* There has to be a way to save her. You are an elf. You have the healing powers to help her!

Damos: Not this way, mi'Lord.

Legolas: *yelling* Is there nothing that will help her?

Damos: I believe your love might.

Legolas: She already knows how much I love her. I try to keep her from going off by herself. That's how much I love her.

Damos: Then maybe your trust, or your faith in her would help.

Legolas: I have enough of trust and faith in her.

Nathan: Not to offend in anyway, brother-in-law, but there is not enough trust between the two of you.

Legolas: *sighs* You're right, Nathan. There isn't. I guess I should go in there, and pour my heart out to her. Maybe she'll come back.

Nathan: *pats Legolas on the back, and smiles* I think you should.

Legolas: *takes a deep breath, and lets it out* Welp... Here I go. By myself to talk to Daisy.

*Nathan smiles and hugs him. Dr. Damos goes to see other patients. Legolas finally goes in and kneels by Daisy's bed-side. He holds her hand which is cold to the touch. He begins talking to her, and apologizing about not trusting her. Then he keeps saying he loves her, over and over. Then he hopes and prays, she'll come back to life.*
____________________________________________________
*Aragorn finally reaches Gondor. He jumps off his horse, and runs inside to the hospital wing. He hears yelling, and screaming. He gets to the room, and sees his wife looking pale as ever, and sees she is limp. He runs to her bed-side and asked what had happened.*

Re: Middle-Earth: Ten years Later.
Meri: *grabs Elfie's hand, to feel for her pulse* What is wrong? How long has she been like this?

RB: She's been-

*suddenly Meri gasps, and clutches her side. She grabs onto the bed for support*

RB: What's wrong? Is something wrong with the child?

Meri: *through gasps* No... not that... pain in ribs... oh, gods... DAISY!

RB: Dee? What's the matter?

Meri: I don't know... I was thinking of her, trying to see how she was... and ... gods... the pain...

RB: Something happened to Dee? Is that what you're saying?

Meri: *gasps* Aye... *closes her eyes, takes a deep breath. When she opens her eyes, she appears to be more stable* Okay... I can still feel her, but now I can feel myself as well.

RB: Will Dee be okay?

Meri: *grimaces* I pray she will be, but she's too far for me to help, except to maybe limit her pain. But Legolas and her brother should be closer and in range to help... *shakes her head as if to clear her mind, and remembers Elfie* Now what happened to Elfie?

((Anyone want to join in? I don't know what happened to her...)

RB: I don't know... all of a sudden she just got weak, and then collapsed and won't wake up.

Meri: Has she been around anyone that could have harmed her?

RB: Not that I know of, but I can't be too sure. Do you think that someone did this to her?

Meri: I can't tell from just looking, but something is wrong that does not feel natural. *gasps and grabs her side again* Do you know where Dee is? Something is horribly wrong there!

RB: Last I knew, she was in her father's realm. She was kidnapped there.

Meri: Her father's realm? What could possibly hap... Ohed dear Aule... She couldn't have! Oh, but there is nothing I can do there, it's too far away. *kneels down beside Elfie, and places her hands on her forehead. She then closes her eyes and begins to go into a trance*

Re: Middle-Earth: Ten years Later.
((Sis you're changing the last of your post. I dunno what to put. I'm stumped :| :\ ))

*In Mirkwook, Legolas is now speaking with his father, and brother. Nathan is in the healing house with his sister.*

Legolas: Father, we have to do something.

Thranduil: What can we do? There is not much we can do to help Daisy.

Legolas: How about if we get Merily to come here?

Thranduil: Do you really want to bring your sister here. Especially with the state she's in right now?

Legolas: *sighs* You're right. I don't want Meri to risk losing her child.

*All of a sudden a woman's scream fills the air. The three elf-men jump. Nathan comes running in, panting heavily.*

Legolas: Nathan what's wrong?

Nathan: Daisy! She is awake!

*Nathan, Legolas, Thranduil and Tylenduil all ran to the healing house. Daisy's screaming stopped as they left the council room. In about ten minutes the four men reached the healing house. They saw Daisy lying on the bed, with the nurse dabbing her forehead. Legolas knelt by the bed, and held her hand.*

Legolas: Daisy...? Daisy, are you all right?

Daisy: *turns to look at Legolas* I... think so...

Legolas: Please don't ever leave me again? You almost died last time you left me.

Daisy: I'm sorry, Legolas. But it was something I had to do.

Legolas: Avenge your father and our daughter? You should have just left that to me.

Daisy: And make me, sit at home and wonder if you're dead or alive? Worry about you, every second of the day?

Legolas: Well it's not like you don't do that any way. *he laughs*

Dr. Damos: Legolas... It's time for you, your father, brother, and brother-in-law to leave. Daisy needs to rest, and possibly eat something.

*Legolas nods, and motions for the other men to leave with him. He took one last look at Daisy before he left the room completely. He was ecstatic she was alive, and somewhat unharmed. Thranduil patted his youngest son on the shoulder and walked with him to the dining hall.*

*english accent*
Meri: I'll turn you into a chicken.

*Meri quickly opens her eyes at the sound of the familiar voice*

Meri: Veet? Is that you?

*Meri slowly stands up, then rushes over to her sister to give her a big hug*

Meri: Veet! I missed you so much! How did you ever find me?

Veet: Twin bonding? *Meri raises an eyebrow* Okay, I ran into Legsie a while back and he told me where to find you.

*Veet looks to her sister's waist*

Veet: Now either you let yourself go quite a bit, or you've found a loverboy.

Meri: *grins* That would be Merry.

Veet: Of course.

Meri: *sticks her tongue out* Well, now that you're here, maybe you can help with Elfie.

RB: Did you find out what happened to her?

Meri: As far as I can tell, it *is* a spell of some sort, since there's nothing physically wrong.

RB: Is there any way you can heal her?

Meri: Maybe normally, but not in this state. *looks at Aragorn* But I do think I know who could.

RB: Aragorn?

Meri: *nods* He's the only one who can get to her spirit, which is what is damaged.

Veet: Let me guess- you want me to calm him down so that he can?

Meri: Aye.

Veet: All right.

*Veet takes Aragorn out of the room to calm him down. In a few minutes they come back in and Aragorn is calmed. He sits at Elfie's bed side, and takes her hand. Then he begin's saying how much he loves her.*

*In Mirkwood, Nathan, Legolas, Thranduil, and Tye are all done eating dinner. They hear Daisy screaming again, and rush out of the dining room. The four of them get to the healing house and see Daisy sitting up, sweating and crying.*

Legolas: *walks towards the bed* Daisy? Daisy what's wrong?

*Daisy doesn't asnwer.*

Nathan: Sis? Please tell us what is wrong?

Daisy: *looks up* I... I can't. I mean I wish I could, but... I don't know.

*Legolas sits on the bed, and places Daisy's head on his shoulder.*

Legolas: Daisy, please tell us what's wrong?

Daisy: *looks up at her husband* I had another dream.

Nathan: About what?

Daisy: Sealamin...

Legolas: But he's dead.

Daisy: *begins to cry* I know, but...

Legolas: But what?

Daisy: I feel he's still trying to control me.

Legolas: How can he? I mean if he had ravaged you, he can't. You're not able to get pregnant again. Not for another few months.

Nathan: He did ravage her, Legolas. But how would he be able to control Daisy? He has no wizarding powers!

Daisy: Yes he did, Nathan. He wanted to mind-meld with me. I do not know how he could be controlling me. I know he's dead, but...

Tye: I think I know what could help you relax, Daisy.

Daisy: You do, Tye? I would love you or anyone to help me.

*Tye sits in a chair next to Daisy's bed, and he tells her to lie down and relax. She does as Tye instructs. He puts his hands above Daisy's face. She closes her eyes, and Tye says something in elvish. Soon enough she is asleep, and Tye sees her dreams. Tye starts frowning as he sees what Sealamin had done to his sister-in-law and his neice.*

Nathan: *whispers* Legolas, what is he doing?

Legolas: *whispers back* He's watching her dreams.

*Tye stops with the reading and comes out of his trance. He stands from the chair. He is still frowning.*

Legolas: Tye, what is wrong?

Tye: He's controlling her, and it seems his business still isn't finished.

Legolas: Business? What Business?

Tye: His business to kill you, my dear brother.

Legolas: Kill me? But why?

Tye: He feels that you have everything, and he wants it all. Including Daisy.

Legolas: That stubborn fool! He deserved to die.

Tye: No little brother. He has not deserved anything. But he will deserve death. Once again.

Nathan: Again? How is he alive? I killed him. I saw it with my own eyes that I killed him.

Tye: Remember, Nathan, he is a more powerful wizard than you are. He is half wizard. You are but a quarter wizard.

Nathan: But I stabbed him in the heart. How could he live from that?

Tye: In order to kill a wizard you need to slice off his head. Once that is done, the killer gets that wizards powers.

Nathan: Oh. I know what I must do now. I'm going to find him and destroy him once and for all.

Legolas: You're going to need some protection, Nathan. I'm coming with you.

Nathan: Legolas I don't want my sister to worry about you. Besides, this guy fights dirty. He always has some nasty tricks up his sleeves.

Tye: Then I will go with you. This Kingdom will go with their new King.

Legolas: But brother. What if someone tries to take this kingdom over again.

Tye: Then I will take half of this kingdom with me.

Legolas: All right. Be careful. Both of you.

*Nathan and Tye leave.*

*english accent*
Meri: I'll turn you into a chicken.
Daisy: But I don't want to be a chicken. Can't I be something less... Chickeny?

Re: Middle-Earth: Ten years Later.
*Tye and Nathan rode quickly out of Mirkwood with half of the soldiers. Legolas and Thranduil stay and watch as they leave the forrest. Daisy sits up in Legolas' bed. She was taken there after she began to look better. It had been abou a week since she was away from her children and friends at Gondor. She wanted to go back and see her children and see how her friends were.*

Legolas: Daisy... Please get some rest?

Daisy: I'm sorry, but I want to go back to Gondor to see our children.

Legolas: I know you do, but you have got to rest before we go anywhere.

Daisy: *sighs* Fine.

*Daisy lays down and tries to fall asleep. Legolas sits at the bedside and watches over his wife, while she sleeps. He, too, falls asleep after a few minutes.*

*Nathan and Tylenduil ride quickly back to the Golden mountain. Once there, they see guards outside patrolling around. They ride up to the gate and ask to be let in. The guards nod and open the gates. Nathan and Tye unmount their horses and walk into the Mountains main cave entrance. Once inside they dart around, looking around every corner for more of Sealamin's lackeys. Not many of them were in the halls. Atleast half of them were arrested. Nathan led Tye towards the dungeon where Daisy was taken before. Once they get there, they spot Sealamin standing at an alter reading a type of mage book. Nathan knew what he was saying. He threw a dagger at Sealamin and hit him square in the lower back.*

Sealamin: *looking back* Ah! I see you have returned for more punishment, Nathan... And you brought a friend. Oh goody.

Nathan: I've come to kill you so you can harm my sister no longer.

Sealamin: Ahh! But right now, my friend, I have her trying to kill her husband.

Tye: You should know that she would never kill my brother. She loves him too much.

Sealamin: If she loves him so much, why does she always run away after they argue?

Tye: They're beginning to understand one another. They need nothing more to argue about.

*Nathan goes to take a swing at Sealamin's neck, from behind, with his sword. He hits, and Sealamin's head looks like it's still attached, from how thin Nathan's sword blade is. Shortly, the body went limp and fell with the head. Once both hit the floor, the head went rolling. Nathan recieved Sealamin's powers, but the force of the power wasn't as strong as Daisy usually gets. Tye and Nathan burned Sealamin's body. Once that was done they left the mountain.*

((Hey, sis- are we starting this one back up again?))

Am off to Fangorn with young hobbits. Leaving Daisy to deal with Legolas. Love brother dearly but after five and a half centuries of listinging to talk about hair care and clothing, cannot take anymore. Got all shirty when I accused of gaining weight. Said *I* left *my* clothes in his bag. Did not mention that he always steals my tunics in name of "fashion" since begining to think he is pregnant.

"Hell hath no fury like an enraged Ent. Except perhaps a pregnant Legolas."
~Me, after Daisy made a comment on how Leggy looked, well, pudgy.
