Silver: The Great Quest is not to be entered into lightly, Daisy. There are only three possible outcomes: Success, disgrace, and death. The last being the most likely.

Daisy: I know... I know. If I die then everyone would be upset. Legolas most of all. He would probably die from a broken heart. Thalius would be happy that I was gone. Everybody would probably ask why I had died. I know my parents will grieve and then probably die from broken hearts. I don't know what to do. I just want to be remembered for something. I haven't done anything great at any point and time. So I know if I die I'll never be remembered.

Silver: I know how you feel, believe it or not. If it means that much to you, I can start a journey to Opad's cave tomorrow.

Daisy: Yes Aunt Silver.
*She bows and leaves for her room in the castle inn. Once she is there she starts grabbing her things, and puts them in her bag that she always carries around. Daisy finishes with packing the last of her clothing, and she brings it down to her horse. She goes back to her room after she packed her horse up. Paid the innkeeper for the room. Stayed outside till day break, cleaning, feeding, and watering her horse.*

Re: The Singing Wind-Sprite *Elfie wandered out into the fields behind the inn. Ahead stood an old tree, vast and beautiful. Elfie climbed up and sat down comfortably, taking out a book and reading
All that is gold does not glitter,
Not all those who wander are lost;
The old that is strong does not wither,
Deep roots are not reached by the frost.

Re: The Singing Wind-Sprite
*The next morning Daisy sits on a bale of hay sleeping. Her horse nudging her to move, she finally stands up and stretches.*
Daisy: *petting her horse* Sorry Midnight. Didn't mean to sleep on your breakfast. I'm going to go find a small creek and wash my face. Try and wake up a bit here. *walks off in search of a creek.*

Re: The Singing Wind-Sprite *The day wore on, the sun slowly sinking into the west. The wind stirred the leaves of the tree that Elfie sat in. The young elf by now had fallen fast asleep, her dark hair blowing over her face, childish in repose. The Elnadorian farmers ploughed their fields, unaware of this elven child who slept above their heads. The green fields were bright and laden with ripe yellow corn that swayed in the breeze. Elawen slept on, her book dangling between her fingers*

Deep roots are not reached by the frost.

*Finds a creek near the border of Elnador. Washes her face. Then walks back to find her horse gone from the stables.*
Daisy: What the? Where is Midnight? I know she was here when I left.
*Daisy walks off to find her horse. She sees Midnight across the field eating grass. Walks over and pulls her horse back to the stables. Once back at the stables Daisy starts packing her stuff on Midnight's back. When she finished, she went off to get food for herself, and a few carrots for Midnight.*
