I'm reading 'Warlock' By Wilbur Smith. I think it's pretty good, but not as good as River God, which I suppose you could call a prequel, or The Seventh Scroll which is kinda an indirect sequel. I'm not going into what they are aboot, because Egyptian adventure typo thangs maketh them sound rather hollow and crappola. So you could say I did actually go into them...but I'm rambling now... so quiet you, me!

Chariots of the Gods by Erich von Daniken.
The Queen of life, took her bow, and then she turned to go. The Prince of Peace embrace the gloom, and walk the Night alone...oh, dance in a dark night--sleep till morning light. The Dark Lord rides in force tonight, and time will tell us all.

Siege of Arrandin - Marcus Herniman. Feistian style Fantasy - all War and Magic. Typical of the stuff Mith recommends. Lots of families and knights. Okay. 5/10.
Sauron Defeated - another one of the HOME series. Good stuff as usual. 7/10
The Golden Bough - Sir James Frazier. A seminal guide through comparative mythology. Really a text book (I remember consulting it may times at Uni). 10/10 if you like that sort of thing.
