it was ok.......
i have only played in the town 2 times, so there wasnt a whole lot of peeps there. and it was outside and around 55 degreeeeeees.
that isnt that cold, but texans are pretty whimpy when it comes to cold weather.
but ya, it was ok.
it was a rough one though.
they cant all be great, but you just hope that the great shows out number the bad ones. it takes time to get that.

You definitely win some and lose some.
I mean, you can't expect great crowds all the time. So no worries. Steve had a show tonight too and it was a bit difficult to draw a crowd because the Sens vs Leafs series (NHL) is going on and it's the huge battle of Ontario. But he said it was pretty good, so that's always great to hear.
And if y'all think 55 degrees is cold (pffft!), then I can see why you didn't get as many people out as hoped.
But again, no worries

i love the cold, i think it is so much better than heat.
but most people in texas dont agree with me.
when ever it's cold , and im walking outside i feel like im in a counting crows video. if i lived in a cold climate, i would probably be so much more creative and write a ton more songs. but in texas it is just hot.
freaking hot.
i will probably eventually move, when i can get some cash together.

lubbock is a place!!!
it is a city in west texas. it is in the middle of no where.
there is a college called texas tech there.
i just had a few shows there over the week end, but im back in austin after the 6ish hour drive.
we are finishing up "run away" tommorow night.
im am "hella" excited.
so i will be back on the board for about a week.

I am definitely pumped!
I am spending some time at Oxford University working on my honours thesis, then I will be spending some time visiting with very extended family!! (I was some 3rd cousins there!) After that, I'm off to la belle Paris. I'm going there just because it's always been a dream of mine to travel there. I'm a french minor so it's also very fitting!
Rest assured, I will be posting MANY pictures (probably more than you'll want to see!!) when I get back!
But I'm still here for a week!
