ohhh don't worry... i'm not ashamed. baseball was a huge part of my life until my injury, and then music took over... so in a strange way, it was a blessing of sorts. but i have no shame in saying that i played baseball. i'll try to find a photo sometime... my mom has tons, but nothing scanned in as a jpg or anything.

which keith? and evy... i wish we were playing on sat, but alas... what can i do. maybe i'll see ya down there sat though- i'll be down checking out music. go and see rachel loy on the mix 94.7 stage at 4pm. she's great, and i'll probably be there. rock on.

awwww.... i just missed you then! we actually heard one of wideawake's tunes as we ran to another stage to catch a friends bands set. they sounded really good. rachel was awesome... i think you'de really dig her stuff.

... thanks kelly I wish we could have hung out more while you were in Austin... but alas, you had to go out on the road with that damn TAYLOR DAVIS!
If anyone is interested friday (aug 19th) we're doing an acoustic set opening for ole Taylor at Flipnotics for his CD release... come early at 9:00 and soft rock with us its gonna be a sweet show! also...
the next night sat (aug 20th), we're playing at the fabulous Lucky Lounge where Taylor and Shwa will open for us (they hit it at 8:00). come and send Tay and Shwa off on their tour.

Friday Sept 9th Sounds Under Radio at Stubbs (www.stubbsaustin.com) doors at 9:00pm, cover $5.00, all ages welcome. Dynah (9:30), Sounds Under Radio (10:30), Shane Bartell (11:30).
So if the good people over at MTV knew who we were, I think they would probably do an Advanced Warning segment about Sounds Under Radio (at least that’s my humble, yet admittedly biased opinion). Now… I know it’s wishful thinking, but maybe someday we’ll get that call, I mean stranger things have happened right? Anyway, since in the immediate future the whole MTV thing probably isn’t going to be going through, I figure why not capitalize on the power of email and send out our own little SUR Advanced Warning, so here goes…
We’re doing a really amazing show at Stubb’s (Austin, Tx) this coming Friday Sept. 9th. This will be an incredible line up… you will see the return or our good friends Dynah (who are resurfacing from a 4 month hiatus), as well as the fabulous Shane Bartell who is headlining the night. I hand picked the lineup for this evening so I can with all authority guarantee a good show!
Cover is cheap, just $5.00, and doors open at 9:00pm. If it’s been awhile since you’ve seen us play, this is definitely the show to see… we’ll have a new song or two to hear, Sonny might just play his new drum kit (yes, he bought another one), and I might just wear some eye liner… the only way you’ll find out is if you come and see for yourself. I hope everyone enjoyed their Labor Day weekend.
