Sweetsport622 Newbie Posts: 5 (6/7/06 6:09 pm) Reply	Spanish and Volleyball The french discussion got me thinking. Does anyone take Spanish and want to keep it up over the summer? I'm going into Spanish 6 (after AP) and have a new teacher so I don't know how hard it will be. Alguien quiera practicar su espanol (no se donde esta los accento) conmigo? On another topic, I don't really feel like making a second post so I'll put it here. Any volleyballers out there. If there are, I'm a setter and my school needs me to be practicing lol. I'll be bringing my ball but I would like a pepper partner!

The way my old teacher described it, there won't be a picture sequence, it's more like a conversation, and the stuff is more real life situation like. I'm sure your teacher's fine. And even if they aren't, take the SAT II in Spanish, it's really easy and you can probably place out of the foreign language requirement at your college.

But I'm definately in on playing! I love playing volleyball....but I am out of practice. But it'll come back. hehe ----Life's too short for love and art.----

I've been playing for, let me think a sec, 5 years maybe. Setter/libero for me, my coaches can't decide which one lol. Pepper all day dude, I'm game.

Out of shape goes for both of us. I started a volleyball camp at U-Turn that goes all summer, except I won't be there, and I'm really feeling it. What happened to your knee? Surgery?
WOAH its erika Member Posts: 26 (6/21/06 7:01 pm) Reply	Re: Volleyballers Visual Arts. well last spring...of 05, i jacked it up playing soccer... and then during the school season this past year i landed on my leg funny after hitting and it popped really loud, tearing my miniscus and MCL...they thought i tore my ACL too, but i didn't thank god. well after the MRI and such they concluded that i have 0, zilch, cartilage left behind my knee cap, leaving just my knee cap to scrape against my femur and tibia...fun huh? yea. so they've been shooting me up with some cortizone to keep it lubricated til they decided weither or not they wanna shave my knee cap down. its lame. lol. i'm not going to any camps becuase they were all in july. haha so i just get to jump right into tryouts, like im not gonna make it on the caroline team..lol MVP 5 years in a row now? lol. we're so lame.
