help the new guy hello every1 im looking to convert an old mfv to a good quality 4 bed liveabord the boat seems easy to get hold of im just trying to find somwere to store the thing wile i do the work needed i live in clacton on sea so my nearest morings are walton (titchmarsh marina) and brightlingsea but im trying to keep the costs as low as posable so the question is can i just more it up on the riverbank away from the marina were i can acsess the boat from eather the river or the bank or via another boat without incering any charges hope this isnt to much of a stupid question cheers guys andy..... if any1 wants to drop me an email im at katuk10@hotmail.com |

I don't see any problem with this as long as the bank you are moored on is not owned or leased by someone.
I would be careful about the security issue of leaving the vessel on the bank side as anyone could go aboard or worse still remove your mooring ropes!! Being moored in a boatyard would be more safe and you would have more facilities like electric etc. Hope this helps Martin |
