Re: is anyone home?
Well, I haven't left. I know Sheila comes around too. I've been offline for several days due to the move - and likely to have a bit less time for puter until I get everything in here unpacked.
My whole body hurts..
But, I'm still around. I try to check in every day or so. Will keep checking back to see about a move also.

*rubs bees back* been there angel! I hope it settles for you soon... check in when ya can
i honestly havent seen anyone on in forever and the logs werent showing anyone so i figured if everyone was breaking i would too! lol i posted the moving information in bees "did everyone move without me" thread (which by the way we would NEVER move with bee and sheila! lol) but i got confused and well thats where the info landed and katrina fallout is kicking kentucky ass right now so reloading pages is extremely unpleasant and long at the moment.

Re: is anyone home?
We've been watching all the Katrina stuff - or at least what we've been able to catch. Got the 2nd U-Haul here yesterday, unloaded & returned today. ARGH.. Drone will have to go back in a week or so & pull the rest of the fencing up there, etc. In the meantime, he deserves a few days off. Our livestock & birds are all here now. What a caravan this last load was!
Now, it's just the unpacking to do.. and trying to get what we can in here & get it in some form of organization..

Re: is anyone home?
hi peeps, i'm still around, but just barely! i expect when the outside work tapers off and stops i will be around a lot more. things have been so-o-o-o busy around here since school started the second semester LAST school year that i just skimmed through here at top speed reading any new posts and taking off again. my son graduated from high school this spring, and we took a trip out to college orientation mid-june. then due to college i had to take a second part time job which has taken all my extra time. zak left august 17th, my youngest niece got married the 27th, and here i am.
was going to travel to hillclimber's this weekend but who can afford to travel now? good thing you got moved when you did honeybee, or are you not where gas prices are so awful?
so for now i am off again - no comment, hc. glad you are all still here!

Re: is anyone home?
Sounds like life has been hectic for you too, Narshaadha! I think it has just been more hectic (and/or weird) for all of us this summer, for some reason.
Gas prices are holding steady here at around $2.99 per gallon. When we started our move, gas was at around $2.49 per gallon (or a few pennies more or less). It went up a full 50 cents during our move. We've seen it as high as $3.19 here & as low as $2.79 over the last few days since we've finished up. Some places where we moved from were rationing sales to $30 purchase per customer.
I'm glad we got mostly finished up before it gets worse too.

Re: is anyone home?
Hey, Everyone! I'm still here. As you probably saw, I found my way back. Only the cyber-gods know for sure why I couldn't get here.
Missed you terribly this weekend, Nar, but we had a wonderful time. As it turned out (and you probably figured this out, Deb) I ran constantly and feel as if I've had no holiday weekend at all, but it was all worth it. Iris' baby shower went beautifully, and it was wonderful spending time with her. I'm a little sad now, because it was her last weekend the doc would let her travel. She's too far along now and having too many problems. Please keep her in your prayers that everything goes well.
I have missed you all and am glad to be back. I agree...it has been the weirdest summer I've had in a while. As usual, I'm starting the fall season with an overly full plate, but maybe that's best, since I seem to have such a time with SAD. My plan is to stay busy and say lots of prayers.
Love to you all!! I'll be back soon, within a day or two.

Re: is anyone home?
If he ever gets here? Child, you aren't even due till Halloween! You got a while to go,yet.Enjoy it,and take the time to learn, and read over the websites I gave you.
Now, for the bad news.In case no one noticed, I haven't been here recently. We're offline for a while,I dont know how long.We had no choice but to give up our phone and internet-couldn't pay the bill. We're also behind on the rent, mostly due to gas prices. Ralphs driving a cab, and has to pay for his own gas.Sometimes he puts more in the gas tank than he brings home.We have no car, and no bus service in our area, or he would get another job.Right now, things are looking pretty bad for us, so keep us in your thoughts, please.
I'll be popping in when I get the chance, thanks to our lovely local library.I'll try to keep everyone updated,as much as possible.Love you all, and hope to be back up and running soon.

Re: is anyone home?
I wondered if that was it sherry or if u n steve were avoding me *snickers*
My whole family is down with that awfull stomach virus for the past 2 weeks so i havent been able to sit long enought o type much. so until everyone stops pooping n puking on me thing are gonna be a bit hectic. gas here is about 3.50 a gallon which blows if your trying to get a new car. Paul went to get my focus and they changed it to a silverado...a gas guzzling truck which is why we are trading in the van in the first place. so he went to another lot and we think we may get the 2005 alantra they have there
i have worked on the new board click here to join. if you have posts you want to go into the new boards that sherry n i havent moved yet, please join and then you can move them yourselves. some i will simply make pages for rather then message boards like religous info n such. I will be logged in all day to it so i will accept right away.
right now one of our members is in trouble but with us loosing privacy i dont want to go into it yet. i will once everyone has gone to the new board. sherry, your ass BETTER keep me posted...drop me a email when u go to the libraries
Love you all
