new guy: Apogee Toys wants to say hi
Hi everyone,
My name is Mike. My partner Bill and I have recently started a company selling mostly 1/6th scale stuff. We are hoping we can become a common name in the hobby. We have some ideas we hope will interest you guys.
To clear up some confusion about who and where we came from I feel it necessary to tell you all more about me. For the last 5 years I was an employee of a company called Voyager Toys. Hopefully some of you reading this remember meeting me or talking with me on the phone. I worked my way from packing orders to general manager in charge of almost everything there. I tried my best to keep you guys happy despite the problems the company had. I don't want to beat up on the owner of Voyager cause I love the guy as a person, but in short watching Voyager sink was one of the hardest things I've had to live through. I truly loved working there and I'm sorry to see it go.
Which brings us to Apogee Toys. I felt I knew enough about the hobby to make a go at it. I enlisted a partner who has a true love for this hobby. Together I truly feel we can succeed where Voyager failed. We are not a spin off of Voyager. The only link form Apogee to Voyager is ME, and I lost my job when Voyager went out of business.
