That must be scary! But don't worry, I'm sure no one is going to think you're a loser.
Do you need help getting stuff to your room?

I would normally suggest that you connect with your RA, but the RAs are crazy busy that day. Maybe you could email your roommate ahead of time to see if she and her parents will temporarily adopt you. It is not that long before parents leave and then everyone is on his or her own. You'll be fine.

yeah, you'll be fine. If you need any help with anything, or just someone to stand around with let me know! (Kendal)

And do make sure you have that yellow medical card with you and that it is signed! There are always a few students who forget/lose them or who forget to have them signed. Not a big deal if they are with their parents as a parent can just sign one on the spot.

I'm sure there will be many people who will be looking for people to talk to, since most of us won't know about 99% of the people there. So I bet there will be plenty of people to get to know, if you find yourself standing around, just go up to anyone and start introducing yourself. If the people on here are any indication, everyone at governor's school is going to be really nice.
Are you going for humanities or VPA? I'm going for humanities. My name's Laura, and one of my best friends, Katie, is also going for humanities (PS: she's really nice too). We'll talk to you!!!
