Posts: 1007 (5/13/06 9:54 am) Reply	slovenians a superior race? what do you think of such a concept? one might argue that the economic miracle and stability in Slovenia as opposed to the rest of the balkans is a sign of superiority. Some might argue that by vircue of not being South Slavs they are bound for succes or rather not for failure and the torture of toiling. Some might try to make references to favortism during Jugoslav days but really was it needed? why do they bounce back so much faster then the rest of you to adversity? how have they avoided your tiresome and age old conflicts?

That's the point of success - another cultural influence and way of thinking - (compaired to the one i.e. Serbs or Makedonians have). Besides the fact they always been west orientated, rather than something else Yougoslavian.

They work alot, and their relation to work is almost like Austrian and German in difference from Croatians Bosnians and Serbians who are lazy (This is spoken by a Serbo-Croat! Look what to say about countries where mostly used sentences are 'It should be done', 'Somebody should do it', 'It is to hard for me to get up'). But as I often see Slovenians have sometimes identity problems since they miss a lot Balkanian culture from the rest of ex-Yugoslavia. It is not rare that concerts of some folk or rock music artists from Bosnia, Serbia or even Croatia have very high attendace. Slovenians are commonly nice people, but sometime when they start to talk about Croatia they start to be a very annoying! (\__/) (='.'=) This is Bunny.
