spells in general
I have written my own spells and rituals, it is very hard to find things in a book that suit me, I read here and there in many books and find bits of familiarity in them but never wholey me, does that make sense? How would one go about writing their own protection spell? any thoughts are appreciated.

sherry, you may have to do some digging but check in the classroom. I KNOW esta and I had a good sized thread going on writing spells and feeling when a spell is right. one is on magick in general the other on spell creation.
ultimate concensus was...you will just KNOW when the spell "clicks" when your writing it. rather like fitting your house key in the door on a moonless 2 a.m. it can be done but takes a steady hand and concentration. lol

Hey hi
as Gaia said writeing a spell is like saying a prayer as that is what your really doing... make it simple and make it easy to remember but make it from the soul and it will work its your will that makes a spell the words just give your mind a frame and a refernace to channel that engery
