the pain of long distance relationships...
hey everyone...
whats up?
heh.. kinda rough night here, though in a way it's good.
bruce sent me an email, and now sam's kinda down, mostly because he misses him, and it's almost impossible for us to have contact. l only wish.. there were some way to convince his mom to drive him up here, and for sam's dad to be willing to accept bruce as - at the least - a friend... but there's too much hatred on colins side for that to happen. he never has been very accepting, lol... *sigh*
l miss him... l really do.
bruce is.. well, he and sam are the light of my life, and without bruce it feels like lm walking through the dark, with only sam to guide me. but... at the same time l'm kidna happy, cus bruce emailed me and he's okay, and... he still loves us, ya know? we're doin okay, l think, other than the whole... distance thing. but what can we do?
other than wait a year and a half (or more) till we can move out, there's not much we can do, what w/ the family situations and all that... especially since cheryl (sams mom) was recently diagnosed w/ diabetes.
it hurts, you know. it really does. a week ago l decided to start an art journal for bruce since his mom took his art stuff away, l kinda figured it'd be nice for him to have something to draw in... so l started trying to teach myself to draw, a little bit at least. and l've started writing him... kinda letters, l guess, but... it's not the same.
we need to see him. soon... it's like... every day is fine, we're all happy and stuff, and laughing and all that, but then it hits me, and it just stops. and for a while everythings scary, like l'm not sure we can do this, you know what l mean?
lol... l'm okay, though. don't worry... but we are working on it.. working on making this relationship strong, and healthy... that counts for something, right?

Sometimes life can throw some pretty wicked curve balls,but my best advice to you,Sam,and Bruce,is to try and look at this as a test.It's a test of all of you,and your commitment to each other.It isn't easy, but if all of you can keep it in perspective, you'll come out of it not only fine, but stronger than ever.

well, sam and l talked last night, and he was feeling a little better after that... l think it's mostly that he misses him, a lot... and it kinda hit sam last night, ya know?
but sam called bruce today, nd they talked for a bit, so we're working on it... it's just the next year - or two - looks like a very long time, ya know? but we're hoping we can at least have him up for my birthday (in april)... if we can manage that, and again a couple months later fr some reason, we might be ble to make it, ya know? lol.. thanx, shadeaux.
