uh....l been a bad girl..lol
hey all.
it's been a while, l know, but l swear, it's not on purpose. moved to the grandparents' house at the end of july, and they were able to get the net hooked up for me, but unfortunately l have trouble getting even the simplest webpages to load, especially if they're long - even text is a problem, for some reason l seem to have a problem w/ the cache filling up or something - or graphics' heavy...which is partly why l havne't been around cotes lately, even to check up. honestly, the net itself is great - ld be lost without it - but it's also frustrating as hell,s ince l never know if anything l do will work right. anyway, l also have a job, temporarily at least - l'm working in a poultry-packing plant (not in the kill section, thank goddess) and it's keeping me pretty busy...hard work, l suppose, but the pay is decent - 10 $ an hour, though l'd be getting 11 if l wasn't working through an employment agency.
anyway.. l suppose l should do an update on sam, since he's in even worse shape than l am.
his dad told cheryl about the whole divorce thing the end of the first week of august, and she took it...okay, l suppose. shocked, & hurt - dont blame her, either - but...she kinda lashed out at sam, said she didn't want him going w/ her & his sister to the family reunion they'd been planning to attend that day...all in all, not a big deal, but him & colin are on the road right now, since colin didn't think it'd be a good idea to leave sam in the house alone w/ cheryl, since there was a good chance she'd take everything out on him.
they're schedualed to move into the apartment around the 3rd, tho it might be a day after (They might stay w/ friends' of colins for the week while unpacking) and should have stable internet connection once everythings set up. honestly, though, right now sam's..having a hard time. this whole thing really bothers it, especially when you consider that we aren't able to talk on the phone for more than 10 minutes at a time (cell phone, double minutes in the us) let alone see each other..he's been having mild problems with his health, too, and school starts on the 6th of sept, so...yeah.
he's got a lot coming up in the next couple weeks, but l'll remind him to check in & see if he can't get the msn website to work.
as for myself, l'm here at my mom's till the 12th, barring any unforseen changes to the plan - on the 12th l've been told colin & sam will come pick me & my stuff up, then l stay with colin & sam for a month or so (a lil longer, but anyway) until l can get more money saved up & get a job in kitchener, where they'll be living...
um. aside from being worried about one of my birds, l think tha'ts about it...so much has been happening lately it's not funny, but l haven't forgotten you all...hope you realize that.
